Team News

Betis' Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat faces up to two months on the sidelines after knee surgery following the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Verdiblancos are also set to miss Cucho Hernandez (hamstring), Rodrigo Riquelme (abductor), Isco (ankle), Hector Bellerin, Giovani Lo Celso and Junior Firpo (all unspecified) due to injury.

Aitor Ruibal is a doubt to feature after missing the weekend's defeat at Alaves with an abductor issue.

Boss Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping wingers Antony and Abde Ezzalzouli can shake off knocks to feature against Feyenoord, with the former having struck three goals during the league phase.

Football Odds

Gijs Smal, Thomas Beelen, Gaoussou Diarra, Shiloh Zand, Gernot Trauner, Malcom Jeng and Givairo Read are all expected to be absent for Feyenoord on Thursday.

Former Sheffield United man Anel Ahmedhodzic, Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Luciano Valente will need to be monitored after picking up injuries in the victory over Heracles last time out.

Real Betis vs Feyenoord Predicted Lineups

  • Feyenoord: Wellenreuther; Lotomba, Kraaijeveld, Plug, Bos; Hwang, Steijn, Targhalline; Hadj Moussa, Sauer; Ueda

Today's Football Fixtures

Real Betis vs Feyenoord Odds

Betis have won six of their last eight competitive fixtures at home and they are 4/7 (implied probability of 63.6%) to prevail here.

The hosts have drawn two of their seven outings in the league phase and the stalemate is priced at 10/3.

Feyenoord are 4/1 to come away with the three points but have lost all three of their away trips in Europe so far.

Over 2.5 goals is on offer at 4/7 and has featured in 10 of the visitors' past 12 games.

Real Betis vs Feyenoord Stats

  • Betis have won 6 of their last 8 home games
  • BTTS - Yes has struck in 13 of Feyenoord's previous 16 outings
  • Abde Ezzalzouli's (BET) two goals in UEL have come at home

Match Result & BTTS - Real Betis & Yes @ 9/5

Given what's on the line for both teams here, this has all the makings to be an entertaining tussle in Seville. Betis may have suffered defeat at PAOK last week but they had won three on the bounce before that in this competition.

The Verdiblancos have also won six of their past eight home games in all competitions at La Cartuja and so this is going to be a very tough test for a Feyenoord side who have been beaten in all three of their previous road trips during the league phase.

The one thing Robin van Persie's side can help produce, though, is goals, as BTTS - Yes has been a winning selection in 13 of their previous 16 competitive fixtures, and I do see this trend continuing on Thursday.

But sadly for them I think Betis will be too strong for them on home turf, so I think the value lies in the home win.

Anytime Goalscorer - Abde Ezzalzouli @ 11/8

Antony may have one more goal than Ezzalzouli in the Europa League so far, but the latter seems like the smarter play here. Both of his goals in the league phase have come on home soil and those have come in the previous two fixtures at La Cartuja.

The Moroccan was also on the scoresheet in Sunday's La Liga defeat at Alaves, so he is a player who is coming into this game with confidence. He should be looking forward to facing a Feyenoord side who have conceded 13 goals in their seven matches in the league phase.
