Team News
Steven Berghuis (groin) and Wout Weghorst (ankle) remain injured for Ajax, while former Arsenal man Takehiro Tomiyasu continues to build up his fitness and he is set to be left out of Wednesday's squad.
Oscar Gloukh has scored three goals in his past two outings in Europe and he is set to feature in attack alongside Kasper Dolberg.
The hosts need to be mindful that Baas Youri and Anton Gaaei are both one booking away each from suspension in the UCL.
Olympiakos continue to miss Theofanis Bakoulas and Konstantinos Angelakis due to cruciate ligament injuries. Goalkeeper Alexandros Paschalakis continues to nurse a calf issue, while Roman Yaremchuk is a doubt with a similar problem.
Brazilian Rodinei has provided two assists during the league phase so far and he is set to continue in attack for the Greek side.
Ajax vs Olympiakos Predicted Lineups
- Ajax: Jaros; Gaaei, Bouwman, Baas, Wijndal; Regeer; Mokio, Klaassen; Gloukh, Godts; Dolberg
- Olympiakos: Tzolakis; Costinha, Retsos, Pirola, Ortega; Mouzakitis, Hezze; Rodinei, Chiquinho, Gelson Martins, El Kaabi
Ajax have won their previous two outings in the Champions League and they are 15/8 (implied probability of 34.8%) to come away with the victory.
Olympiakos have also won their past two fixtures in this competition and they are 13/10 to collect the three points.
The draw is marketed at 5/2, with the visitors experiencing two stalemates in the league phase.
Olympiakos front man Ayoub El Kaabi is the favourite to score anytime at 1/1 and he has two goals to his name so far.
Ajax vs Olympiakos Stats
- Ajax have won their last two UCL matches
- Oscar Gloukh has scored three goals across those two victories
Match Result - Ajax @ 15/8
I must admit, it took me a while to land on this selection because I did also consider an Olympiakos victory. This is because Ajax have lost all three of their home appearances in the Champions League this term.
However, it may be late but the Dutch side have shown great fight in the last two games, winning at Qarabag and Villarreal. The Sons of the Gods will look to channel that momentum into their final home fixture as they are fighting to keep their campaign alive.
Olympiakos have also won just one of their three away trips in the UCL this season and that came against Kairat. I think they will find life difficult in Amsterdam as there is likely to be a very intimidating atmosphere which I think will add to their away day struggles.

Anytime Goalscorer - Oscar Gloukh @ 9/4
Gloukh has been stepping up for Ajax in the last two games and his three goals have given the Dutch outfit a lifeline as they make a late dash for the play-offs.
The attacker was an exciting addition to the squad in the summer from Red Bull Salzburg and he has so far contributed eight goals and six assists in all competitions. With Weghorst and Berghuis sidelined, Gloukh is stepping up to be a leader for Ajax in the final third and he should be full of confidence heading into this contest.
I think 9/4 offers good value for him to strike in the third successive Champions League match on Wednesday.
