Football Bet of the Day: 7/1 for a comfortable Barca victory

Barcelona will look to respond after losing 2-1 at Real Sociedad in La Liga last weekend, which ended their nine-game winning streak in the top flight. They host bottom side Real Oviedo on Sunday (15:15 GMT, Premier Sports 1), with the chance to move back up to first with a victory.
I have picked out today's Football Bet of the Day from this contest because I think there is value in a home victory. I'm also hoping to follow up on my successes from Tuesday and Wednesday.
Football Bet of the Day - Sunday, January 25
- Correct Score - 3-0 @ 7/1

With nine wins from their past 10 La Liga matches, Barcelona are the heavy favourites to win at 1/9.
The draw is valued at 8/1, while Real Oviedo are 18/1 to stun the Catalonian outfit.
I said there was value to be found in a home victory, but it is not quite in the way you were thinking. For Sunday's Bet of the Day, I have gone bold by picking out a correct score.
The one that jumps out at me is 3-0 to Barcelona. Hansi Flick's side haven't been struggling for goals this season with 54 scored across their 20 league fixtures so far, meaning they are averaging 2.7 per game - which helps with the appeal of this bet.
Barca have a lot of attacking quality in their ranks who have all been sharing the goal burden this season. Ferran Torres (11), Robert Lewandowski (nine), Lamine Yamal, Raphinha (both seven) and Dani Olmo (five) have all been prolific in the league this term, and this quality should be too much up against the team rooted to the bottom of the table.
Real Oviedo have won just two of their 20 league games so far, having lost seven and drawn seven. The visitors head into this clash off the back of four defeats in their previous seven away trips in the top flight.
In the reverse fixture against Barcelona, Oviedo lost 3-1. There have been 11 matches this season in which Barca have scored at least three goals in La Liga and six of them have come at Camp Nou.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- Real Oviedo have failed to score in 13 of their 20 La Liga matches
- They have lost nine of those games
- Barcelona have posted two 3-0 victories in the league this season
Flick's men have won seven matches to nil in La Liga this campaign and four of them have come on home turf. One of them was a 3-0 scoreline, which came against Getafe back in September.
I think on home soil, they should fancy themselves to record another clean sheet as Oviedo have failed to score in 13 of their 20 outings in the top flight and six of them have come on their travels.
In total, the visitors have lost nine matches without scoring in La Liga, which I think bodes well for this selection.
Barca will be determined to get back to winning ways and return to the top of the table and it is fortunate for them that they are up against the worst team in the division. It shouldn't take much for the Blaugrana to claim the three points and I think a 3-0 scoreline does seem very realistic given the gulf in class between the two sides.
