Lucky 15 Tips: Streamsforth can find his flow

Leicester and Down Royal provide jumping action on Tuesday and we have a Lucky 15 to enhance the afternoon's entertainment.

The Gary Hanmer-trained Streamsforth Lad unseated his rider at Uttoxeter 32 days ago, but that may have seen the eight-year-old slip under the radar in the 15:32 at Leicester. Find my Lucky 15 Tips down below.

13:32 Leicester - Starzand @ 4/6

The Leicester card gets underway with a two-and-a-half-mile novice's hurdle, and STARZAND looks set to shine.

The Philip Hobbs & Johnson White-trained runner was booked in for a tilt at the Challow at Newbury last month, but the six-year-old skipped that engagement with the ground unsuitable.

Starzand was beaten narrowly by Bossman Jack at Ffos Las last time out on January 8.

However, that run came over an unsuitable two-mile trip and the six-year-old was also conceding a penalty to Dan Skelton's useful performer.

Heavy ground over a longer distance looks right up Starzand's street and Hobbs & Johnson's hope goes into battle off level weights with Olly Murphy's Ubatuba.

The opening contest rates as a good opportunity for Starzand to shine.

14:02 Leicester - Jipcot @ 3/1

IPCOT jumped well from the front to finish third in a decent contest at Ayr 18 days ago and progress is expected.

Jonjo & A J O'Neil's runner was returning from a nine-month absence at the Scottish track and the seven-year-old only weakened close to home.

Jipcot appeared to enjoy the return to chasing and there could be more to come off a workable mark.

15:02 Leicester - Carrigmoorna Rowan @ 18/1

CARRIGMOORNA ROWAN has his third start for trainer Ryan Potter since making the switch from the Harry Fry yard in November, and while the nine-year-old may have eyes on prizes further down the line, there is enough in the price to chance a big run in the 15:02.

Potter's gelding was an eye-catcher on stable debut when finishing second at Huntingdon, but he was then well back in fifth when sent off 5/1 for a handicap chase at Haydock 48 days ago.

Carrigmoorna Rowan is down in trip at Leicester this afternoon, but the heavy ground could see the nine-year-old keeping on when many of his rivals have had enough.

15:32 Leicester - Streamsforth Lad @ 11/2

STREAMSFORTH LAD unseated his rider at Uttoxeter 32 days ago, but Gary Hanmer's hope was still travelling well at the time and the eight-year-old could have an impact in the handicap chase at 15:32.

Only two horses finished the Uttoxeter contest, and unseating may not be a bad thing, given the attritional nature of that race.

Streamsforth Lad had previously put in good efforts at Wetherby and Southwell and a return to that form is expected.

A mark of 94 should allow progress and conditions will suit.
