Yes in Villa vs Arsenal
A huge clash awaits in the lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League as Aston Villa host Arsenal at Villa Park. It pits third against the league leaders, with six points separating the two teams.
Villa are the form side in the division with four wins on the spin, and they have lost just one of their seven home games in the top flight this term. Equally, Arsenal have lost just one away match in the league, and it is the only defeat they have suffered this season in all competitions.
This is an interesting battle on paper and one that I believe will deliver in terms of goals because BTTS - Yes has landed in three of the visitors' last four outings in the league.
Additionally, Villa won a seven-goal thriller at Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek, while their latest encounter with the Gunners saw both teams find the net.
Yes in Man City vs Sunderland
Manchester City were able to hold on for the three points at Fulham on Tuesday as they won a gripping nine-goal thriller. They return to the Etihad this weekend as they entertain high-flying Sunderland, who earned a draw at Liverpool last time out.
The Black Cats have caused a lot of the teams in the top six problems this term, and I think City will be next in line. The hosts have seen BTTS - Yes strike in four of their past five fixtures in the top flight, two of which have come on home turf.
There have also been goals at both ends in five of the visitors' previous six appearances in the Premier League.
Yes in Spurs vs Brentford
Tottenham Hotspur remain a mystery when playing at home in the Premier League. They have the second-worst record in the division and their troubles may continue on Saturday when Brentford come to town.
The Bees have one of the weakest away records in the top flight, so this could be an interesting encounter. I fancy both teams to score here as four of Spurs' seven games here have seen this selection land, which is the same return for Brentford on their travels.
It also helps that the visitors boast the league's second-highest top scorer in Igor Thiago (11).
Yes in Ipswich vs Coventry
In the Championship, Ipswich Town will look to try and dent Coventry City's momentum at the top of the table, as the Tractor Boys bid to join the Sky Blues in the automatic promotion places.
They meet at Portman Road, with Coventry on a five-game winning streak, while the visitors are winless in their last two outings. Both teams have a good amount of quality in attacking areas, so I think both teams will find the net here.
BTTS - Yes has landed in six of Cov's past seven appearances in the second tier, while this has also been a winning selection in six of Ipswich's previous seven road trips in the Championship.
Yes in Leeds vs Liverpool
The Premier League's evening serving sees Leeds United take on Liverpool at Elland Road. The Whites will look to build on their midweek triumph over Chelsea, which also came on home soil.
Liverpool had to salvage a point against Sunderland as their inconsistency issues reared their ugly head in the week. BTTS - Yes has been a successful bet in five of Leeds' seven league games at home this term, as well as four of the Reds' seven away trips in the top flight.
There have also been goals at both ends in each of the hosts' last four outings in the Premier League coming into this contest.
