Leeds vs Chelsea Prediction: Can Blues find another win?

An old English rivalry takes place at Elland Road on Wednesday night as Leeds United host Chelsea (20:15 GMT, Sky Sports Premier League). Daniel Farke’s side almost earned a point at Manchester City at the weekend before losing late, while Chelsea are still in contention for the title having held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw.
Below you can find my Leeds vs Chelsea predictions featuring team news and betting tips.

Team News
James Justin was taken off in the second half of the defeat to Manchester City, although Farke doesn’t believe his knock is serious. Dan James and Sean Longstaff are both out but Anton Stach may return after missing sitting out due to concussion protocols.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be in for a start after helping Leeds stage a comeback against Man City, while Jaka Bijol also came off the bench and could be thrust into the XI, with Farke potentially switching to a back five from the off.
Moises Caicedo is suspended for the next three games after being shown a straight red card so Enzo Maresca will be without his key midfielder for this trip up north. Captain Reece James was fantastic in midfield against Arsenal but his manager could leave him out due to his frequent injury problems: “I would like to start him, but we need to do the right thing.”
Cole Palmer was an unused substitute at the weekend but is back fit, with the boss explaining “He is available and can start the game. The idea with him is to start giving him minutes until he is ready to play 90 minutes.” Expect the England man to come off the bench, with Andrey Santos set to partner Enzo Fernandez in midfield.
Liam Delap and Joao Pedro should team up in the final third with Palmer likely to stay on the bench.

Leeds vs Chelsea Stats
- Leeds have lost their last four
- Chelsea are unbeaten in seven
- Enzo Fernandez is averaging 1.10 shots on target per 90
Chelsea to win @ 20/21
Chelsea are in the title race this season, make no mistake about it. They need to start racking up the wins to heap the pressure on Arsenal, but drawing with 10 men on home soil was impressive and will give them confidence.
Leeds have lost their last four Premier League games and I think the away side will have enough to take all three points.

Price Boost - BTTS, Enzo Fernandez 1+ shot on target, Estevao to score or assist @ 5/1
Both teams have scored in seven of the 13 PL matches for both of these teams this season, and both teams have now scored in four of the last five league games. Chelsea are a bit more stingy lately although both teams found the net in their game against Arsenal, and I think it will come in at Elland Road.
Fernandez has been firing shots in at goal this season (25 in total), and has already landed 13 on target at an average of 1.10 shots on target per 90. Leeds should give him some space in midfield and he can keep up his average here. Let’s finish by backing Estevao to contribute with a goal or assist.
He has only got one goal and one assist in the PL, but he has got five goals in all competitions and should be able to trouble this leaky Leeds defence.
