I’m a Celebrity First Eviction Odds: Who’s on borrowed jungle time?

Greetings, dear reader. If you're following this year's jungle jinks in Ant & Dec-land you'll be aware that it's time to start reducing numbers. The first elimination beckons on Friday night's show - but who will cross the bridge first from the Class of '25?

Massive relief perhaps, or gut-wrenching embarrassment - a healthy slice of both I reckon. One assumes the money's the same, so an extended stay in the umpteen-star accommodation back in civilisation isn't to be sniffed at. You know it makes sense.

For one happy camper, their jungle experience is nearly complete. Nasties have nibbled their nethers. Trial challenges have been met. Twelve are about to become 11 (Spice Grannies Christmas hit, 2035) – on I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here!

It’s time for the first elimination, and while it looks pretty straightforward as to who it WON’T be, identifying the poor soul who’s getting ignominiously dumped first is a trickier affair.

Manchester’s finest Aitch and Angry Ginge are at the head of the market to win the thing, so an exit at this stage would be a bit of a shock. Like seeing Tom Read Wilson in a shell-suit. Eating a kebab. Messily. Or Arne Slot up for Manager of the Month.

After a series of 'Rivals' head-to-head clashes, culminating in further one-on-one combat during Thursday's live trial, we now know that there are SEVEN campmates up for the elimination vote which is open NOW. The other five have earned immunity from this first vote-off.

In danger then of leaving tonight (Friday), and in need of your votes if you want them to stay, are;

Angry Ginge, Aitch, Alex Scott, Ruby Wax, Kelly Brook, Jack Osbourne and Martin Kemp; who will all face the public vote - and here's how we see things in terms of the betting, to be the first elimination.

Alex Scott 4/9, Kelly Brook 9/4, Martin Kemp 7/1, Ruby Wax 8/1, Jack Osbourne 16/1, Aitch 80/1, Angryginge 80/1.

Our favourite then for an early bath, hearty breakfast, bodyweight in Prosecco and appearance via satellite on Lorraine is Alex Scott, followed by Kelly Brook.

Can't think what the ladies have done/not done to underwhelm the public so, but there are some big personalities in there and I guess it's thought that the TV sports presenter, and model/radio personality, have respectively not connected sufficiently enough with the great British public.

Our experts (who are we kidding?) think the first elimination then is most likely to come from one of these two jungle compardres, but of course this is sport (well, you know), and nothing can ever be taken for granted.

The market will doubtless fluctuate as the day whizzes by and at the end of tonight's show we'll know for definite, as our diminutive Geordie hosts interview the departee and skim through their best bits; quick pose on the rope bridge, before tackling the biggest bacon sandwich in the southern hemisphere. Ish.
