Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea Prediction: Ange to be singing the Blues?

Chelsea will look to climb into the Premier League's top four on Saturday lunchtime when they travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest (12:30 BST, live on TNT Sports 1).

Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to claim his first victory as Forest boss, as the Australian has started his reign with a seven-game winless run. Chelsea come into Saturday's contest off the back of a dramatic win over Liverpool, and they'll be looking to build on that here. Team News

The hosts will be without Ola Aina, who continues to recover from a hamstring problem, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is in a race against time to be available for Saturday's encounter.

Ibrahim Sangare could replace Ryan Yates in the engine room to partner Elliot Anderson, while Postecoglou may hand Igor Jesus a start up front at the expense of Chris Wood.

As for Chelsea, Cole Palmer isn't expected to return here, while Tosin Adarabioyo will also miss out this weekend.

Trevoh Chalobah is available for selection once more after serving a one-game suspension last time out, while Estevao, who was the match winner against Liverpool, is expected to start on Saturday.

Enzo Fernandez was forced to withdraw from international duty with Argentina due to swelling of his knee, so the former Benfica man remains a doubt for this contest.

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea Odds

Forest are 3/1 to claim a much-needed victory, the draw is a 11/4 chance and a Chelsea win can be backed at 10/11, giving them an implied win probability of 52.4%.

Chelsea emerged as 1-0 winners at the City Ground last season, and a repeat of that scoreline is available at 15/2.

Joao Pedro leads the anytime goalscorer market at 11/8, while Wood is shortest-priced for the hosts at 7/4.

The pressure is growing on Postecoglou after a dismal start to life as Forest boss, and even his own supporters have voiced their displeasure this early into his reign.

It's hard to see the Tricky Trees snapping their winless run here though, as Chelsea will be buoyed by their last-minute victory over Liverpool before the international break.

The Blues have conceded in all five away games this term, so a clean sheet is unlikely, which is why I'm opting for a 2-1 Chelsea win.

Estevao to assist a goal @ 10/3

Estevao was the hero in the aforementioned victory over Arne Slot's men, scoring the winning goal with virtually the last kick of the game.

The former Palmeiras youngster also provided an assist in Chelsea's 1-5 thumping of West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier in the campaign – and with Palmer expected to be missing once again – the onus will be on the Brazilian to create on Saturday.
