We came agonisingly close to our first BTTS acca success last weekend, with just one game letting us down. And it had to be Eintracht Frankfurt, the side who had been involved in plenty of games in which both teams scored.

This weekend may be during the international break, but there are still matches taking place in the EFL, and this is where my focus is for this week's BTTS Tips, which have once again been boosted by the traders.

BTTS Tips - Saturday, October 11

BTTS Yes in Burton Albion vs Bolton Wanderers (15:00 BST)

In League 1, Burton Albion entertain Bolton Wanderers at the Pirelli Stadium. The Brewers will be looking to climb out of the relegation places with a win, while Bolton have the chance to move into the top six with three points.

Both teams are in need of improving their positions in alignment with their aims for the campaign, and this seems like a suitable game for BTTS. This has been a winning selection in six of Bolton's past away matches in the league, and I believe this trend can continue at the weekend.

It is also worth noting that both meetings between the two clubs last season saw both teams find the back of the net.

BTTS Yes in Bristol Rovers vs MK Dons (15:00 BST)

Bristol Rovers host MK Dons at the Memorial Stadium in League 2 and just a point separates the two sides heading into this clash. The visitors have won their last two matches in the fourth tier.

The Dons have seen both teams get on the scoresheet in 80% (4/5) of their away trips in the league so far this season, which have come in their past four outings on the road.

Both these clubs have promotion ambitions in 2025/26 and so this is a match in which neither can really afford to drop points. They have scored 32 goals between them in the league, and so there will be plenty of firepower on display in BS7.

BTTS Yes in Crawley Town vs Walsall (15:00 BST)

Sticking in the fourth tier, Crawley Town take on Walsall, and the Saddlers will be hoping to maintain their position at the top of the table. They have won three games on the spin in the league and faced a Crawley side that have lost three on the bounce.

Despite the polar opposite form of the two clubs, I like the look of BTTS here because not only has is struck in 60% (3/5) of the hosts' home games, but it has also been a winning selection in 60% of the the visitors' away trips in League 2.

BTTS has also been a winning selection in Walsall's past three league fixtures heading into the weekend.

BTTS Yes in Chesterfield vs Salford City (15:00 BST)

Chesterfield will be hoping to improve their form in League 2 when they host Salford City at the Technique Stadium. The Spireites are ninth in the table but they only have one win in their previous five appearances in the league.

Salford are three places higher by just one point, and the Ammies have lost successive matches after enjoying a three-game winning streak before that. Both these clubs have lofty ambitions this season and they have both had no issues with finding the net, with Chesterfield bagging 20 goals to Salford's 17.

The problem for both of them is that they concede a lot of goals, too. The hosts have shipped 19 to the visitors' 15.

Chesterfield and Salford rank joint-highest in the division for games featuring goals at both ends with 73% (8/11). For the hosts, this includes 80% of their home matches (4/5), and for Salford, this includes 60% (3/5) of their contests on the road.

BTTS No in AFC Wimbledon vs Port Vale (15:00 BST)

Back to League 1 to round off this week's acca as AFC Wimbledon take on Port Vale. Both sides, who were promoted from League 2 last term, are in good form coming into this clash.

The Dons have won four in a row and sit fifth inside the play-offs, while the visitors are unbeaten in four, having won three of them. Wimbledon were nefarious for their defensive record on home turf last season and just two of their five contests at Cherry Red Records Stadium this term have seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Additionally, the Valiants have seen just one of their five away trips in the third tier produce goals at both ends, so I think BTTS - No is going to be a shrewd selection for this battle.
