Crystal Palace vs Sunderland Stats
- Crystal Palace are 11 league and cup matches undefeated
- Will Hughes has been booked in all three league matches
Crystal Palace to win & under 3.5 goals @ 11/10
Home wins over West Ham and Brentford have given Sunderland a massive lift back in the top-flight, but those are two games they would have expected to get something from and this assignment looks a lot tougher.
The Eagles have come on leaps and bounds under Oliver Glasner, won their first major trophy and are a formidable force at Selhurst Park, where they have gone 11 league and cup matches without defeat.
Their dominant display in a 3-0 win at Villa Park bodes well for another successful campaign.
That result against the Villans bucked the trend in that five of their six matches before that had failed to produce more than two goals, so it makes sense to back them to win a game that features fewer than four, with a 2-0 win of potential interest to correct-score punters.

Bet Builder - Jean-Philippe Mateta to score at any time, Will Hughes to be booked & under 10.5 corners @ 14/1
With Sarr out injured, there will be an extra responsibility on Mateta’s shoulders and the Palace striker can get on the scoresheet having opened his league account in the win at Villa.
Eagles midfielder Will Hughes has been booked in each of his three league outings this season and could receive a fourth caution, while a Pick Your Punt selection can be completed by backing under 10.5 corners - as Palace have forced a total of just four in their opening three games.
