The British Grand Prix certainly delivered for us last time out as Lando Norris secured his first win on home soil to close the gap on Oscar Piastri at the top of the Drivers’ Championship. The McLarens are flying right now and as we head to Belgium, will any of the other teams be able to close the gap?

Below you can find my Belgian Grand Prix 2025 Predictions as we look to secure back-to-back winners.

Belgian Grand Prix 2025 Predictions

  • Oscar Piastri to win @ 13/8
  • Lewis Hamilton podium finish @ 15/8

The British Grand Prix delivered on almost every front with the changeable weather and some gambling on tyres provided the perfect mixture of entertainment and surprise. The main talking point was Nico Hulkenberg’s first-ever podium finish after 239 races, as he took full advantage of the weather to break into the top three, behind Norris and Piastri.

Piastri’s 10-second penalty for a dodgy restart arguably cost him the victory, as Norris celebrated his first win at Silverstone in front of the British fans. So now we head to Spa-Francorchamps, the longest circuit on the F1 calendar, hoping for more drama.

Belgian Grand Prix 2025 Odds

Oscar Piastri to win @ 13/8

Lando has now closed the gap in the Drivers’ Standings to just eight points after back-to-back wins, but I can’t help but feel Piastri will get back to the top of the charts in Spa. The McLaren driver voiced his belief that he was quicker than his teammate on several occasions at Silverstone, but ultimately the 10-second penalty for his silly mistake at the restart made Zak Brown’s decision very simple. There would be ‘no fighting’ - as Thomas Shelby would say.

This time around though I just believe that the Australian has the advantage. He has proven himself to be as good as, if not a tiny bit better than Lando this season and the title race looks like it will go all the way to the wire. We have to accept, after another one-two, that McLaren are by far and away the best constructor this season, and therefore, the winner of this race is more than likely going to be driving a papaya car.

I’m happy to back Piastri to get back on the top of the podium after a frustrating British Grand Prix for the title challenger.

Lewis Hamilton podium finish @ 15/8

Lewis Hamilton took the race win in a Mercedes here last year, and it marked his fifth success at Spa, as he tied Ayrton Senna’s record for wins in Belgium. He clearly performs well at this track and he looked good on home soil last time out, eventually finishing fourth.

Of course, the seven-time champion will want to be performing better than he currently is and challenge for race wins, and he benefitted from Max Verstappen’s spin late on at Silverstone, but I just think he can get a good result at this circuit. Charles Leclerc hasn’t been convincing of late and George Russell isn’t at his best either - so perhaps Lewis can pick up the pieces.
