13:50 Sandown - Kerdos @ 4/1
Clive Cox's KERDOS can put a stop to a losing run of over a year in the opener at Sandown on Saturday.
Since a career-best victory in the G2 Betfred Temple Stakes at Haydock last May, the five-year-old son of Profitable has failed to re-enter the winners' enclosure in six attempts.
However, bar lacklustre efforts in the mud at Longchamp in October and on this season's reappearance at York in May, he's been holding his own at the highest levels, against the best sprinters in the business.
His fifth in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot last month was a return to form and a replication of that effort would likely be enough to win this Group 3 contest over the minimum trip.
I respect She's Quality, who boasts a similar standard of form, but Kerdos, under French jockey Christophe Soumillon, is the one to beat for me.

14:05 Haydock - Ammes @ 7/1
Haydock's first race in front of the ITV cameras on Saturday is a three-year-old handicap over 1m6f.
I'm sure the Wathnan Racing-owned Valiancy, for William Haggas, will prove popular, but my vote goes to James Owen's AMMES.
The No Nay Never colt opened his account at the fourth time of asking at Chepstow in May, before making his handicap debut in the King George V Stakes off a mark of 86.
He was just over five lengths behind the winner Merchant, a highly-progressive type with King George and Great Voltigeur options later this year, and the runner-up Serious Contender was a close second to stablemate Lambourn in the Irish Derby last weekend. That's really strong form and the selection emerged with plenty of credit.
Off an unchanged mark, he looks a good bet in this less-competitive event.

14:25 Sandown - Greek Order @ 3/1
Michael Bell acquired GREEK ORDER this summer, following spells for Harry & Roger Charlton and William Mott across the pond, and he ran a blinder on yard debut in one of the trickiest handicaps at Royal Ascot.
Off 95 - four pounds lower than his last mark on these shores - he was fourth (of 30) behind the progressive My Cloud in the Royal Hunt Cup.
A rise of just two pounds looks generous, and the booking of Ryan Moore is a huge positive for the five-year-old son of Kingman.
If this isn't too soon after Ascot, I expect him to run a huge race.

14:40 Haydock - Estrange @ 1/4
It would be very strange indeed if David O'Meara's exciting Night Of Thunder filly doesn't oblige in the Lancashire Oaks.
ESTRANGE bolted up in a Grade 3 on Merseyside last time out, confirming the considerable promise shown last season, and looks destined for the highest level.
She is seen as a Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe hopeful by connections and so ought to make easy work of these rivals - rated seven pounds, 23lbs and 29lbs inferior.

15:00 Sandown - Victory Queen each-way @ 7/1
The Distaff - a mile-long Listed race for three-year-old fillies - has attracted a field of nine, and Blue Bolt is expected to prove popular with punters.
She won nicely at Newbury last time out but that race fell apart with the 11/10f running no race. I'm yet to be totally convinced by her ability.
VICTORY QUEEN can definitely put it up to her, providing she's fit and ready after a 66-day layoff.
Charlie Appleby's daughter of Kingman is 2-2 in her career to date, winning on debut at Newmarket in April before following up at Ascot a fortnight later.
She's beaten Zgharta, a subsequent winner who was seventh in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot off an opening mark of 88, and Gulya, who was runner-up to Betfred Oaks runner-up and now Group 1 winner Whirl on her debut. Ignore that one's subsequent run at York, for she was found to be bleeding from the nose afterwards.
I don't think she has much at all, if anything to find on the favourite, so she looks seriously overpriced at time of publication.

15:15 Haydock - Minstrel Knight each-way @ 8/1
The big betting race of the afternoon at Haydock is the Old Newton Cup - a 1m4f handicap with 16 runners set to go to post.
A case can be made for many, but it's MINSTREL KNIGHT who makes the most appeal to me.
The four-year-old Advertise gelding was a fine fourth on seasonal reappearance at Hamilton last month, off a mark of 88. He shaped like better days were ahead.
With that in mind, off a pound lower, he rates a cracking each-way bet in this Extra Place Race, with 5 available.

15:35 Sandown - Ruling Court @ 9/1
Last but certainly not least, it's time for the Coral-Eclipse - and what a fantastic renewal we have in store. 'Only' six go to post, but every single one of them have a chance of landing this £567k Group 1 prize.
As impressed as I was by his performance in the Prince Of Wales's at Royal Ascot, I'm happy to let Ombudsman win at the prices. He's got plenty of weight to concede to the three-year-olds in the field, and John & Thady Gosden haven't had a winner from 17 runners in the last couple of weeks.
Sosie is respected, but might not appreciate the good to firm ground - while Delacroix has something to prove after his poor run in the Betfred Derby.
Camille Pissarro and Hotazhell can't be ignored, but it's RULING COURT for me.
I'm happy to give the Betfred 2000 Guineas hero another chance after his lacklustre effort in the St James's Palace at Royal Ascot. He didn't look at the races from the word go, and it felt very much like an afterthought following his withdrawal from the Derby at Epsom.
He also looked like he was crying out for a step up in trip in Berkshire, so this 1m2f test should be perfect. If he can get back to something like his best, he's well overpriced under Oisin Murphy.
