Nap of the Day: Front Line Fury to fire on handicap debut

It was great to watch Wednesday's selection, Dandy Style (5/2), oblige for Nap of the Day followers.
Hopefully there's more to celebrate on Thursday, as my attention turns to my local track.

I think the handicapper has given FRONT LINE FURY every chance on handicap debut at Haydock on Thursday.
George Scott's two-year-old son of Kodi Bear and half-brother to 2024 Queen Mary third Maw Lam opened his account at the third time of asking at Ripon last month, following a couple of encouraging runs in defeat.
On debut at Yarmouth in May, the selection was behind Postmodern, one of the leading fancies for the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot a fortnight ago. He evidently didn't run to form in Berkshire, so I wouldn't read into that at all. I still think he's got a big future.
Amorim, who was just under a length ahead of the selection on the East Coast, bolted up by six lengths at Windsor the other day and looks another useful prospect.
In first-time blinkers, Front Line Fury was then sent to Nottingham and once again bumped into some classy operators. Reciprocated, who ran out a ready winner, followed up in a higher grade at Carlisle last week to earn an opening mark of 99, while there's plenty to like about Silent Applause and High Approval (favourite for a race later on the card at Haydock) who finished second and third respectively.
Headgear was dropped for his latest outing at Ripon, where he beat the equally well-backed Lucky Hero by four very comfortable lengths. That rival holds an entry for the Two Year Old Trophy at Redcar later in the year and showed a decent level on his debut.
Given all that, I'm surprised he's been handed an opening mark of 82. I think he's deserving of at least 85.
It's fair to say I believe he's been given a right chance as he steps into this 0-85 nursery handicap over six furlongs on Merseyside, with five rivals to beat.
He should be able to confirm form with rank outsider Sporting Light, despite the latter being off better terms, while Born Slippy and Adalida have a good bit to find as far as I'm concerned.
Mister Moet is interesting as he's improved for every run, culminating in a maiden success at Carlisle exactly 35 days ago. A mark of 75 may underestimate him too, but I don't think he has nearly as much scope as the selection.
Blue To Blue can't be ruled out for the tip-top Karl Burke and Clifford Lee partnership. He won nicely on debut and gave a good account of himself under a penalty next time out. Off his rating of 76, he can give us something to think about.
But ultimately I'm sweet on the chances of Front Line Fury, who can make it four winning Naps in a row for myself.
