Claudio Ranieri can expect a ticker-tape send-off as the 73-year-old Roma coach takes charge of his final game at Torino's Stadio Olimpico on Sunday (19.45).

The veteran Italian, the man who guided Leicester to Premier League glory nine years ago, retires after this clash. But it will be no exhibition with his Roma side still in with a squeak of pipping Juventus for a place in next season's Champions League. Read on for my Torino vs Roma predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Torino vs Roma Odds

Mid-table Torino are huge 5/1 shots with Roma just 8/15 and the draw 16/5.

There have been fewer than three goals in 16 of Torino's last 19 Serie A games so under 2.5 goals at 10/11 might be a popular shout.

Team News

Torino have a mass of absentees, among them Duvan Zapata, Borna Sosa and Alieu Njie. Eljif Elmas is also struggling to be fit due to a thigh injury but might be fit enough for the bench.

For Roma, Eldor Shomurodov may be partnered in attack once again by Alexis Saelemaekers if Artem Dovbyk does not shake off an adductor strain. Paulo Dybala and skipper Lorenzo Pellegrini are definitely out.

Roma & under 3.5 goals @ 11/10

There won't be a dry eye in the house when Claudio Ranieri signs off for the final time as a head coach.

Ranieri will take his leave after the trip to Torino where his Wolves can send him off in style by landing the odds.

The game certainly means plenty to Roma, who have come with a wet sail since Christmas to nail down a European place next season.

At the moment they are in a Europa League spot but victory could see them leapfrog Juventus into the Champions League. Lose and Lazio could demote them to the Conference League.

Those stakes alone are enough to keep Roma honest although they have been a winning machine anyway with 11 victories recorded in their last 14 Serie A matches.

Nine of those 11 were in matches featuring under three goals so Roma & Under 3.5 has got real legs as a betting option.

Torino are mid-table and in a rut with no wins in their last four, while they are also bemoaning a lengthy injury list.

Matias Soule anytime scorer @ 11/5

Season 2024/25 has been another fine one for Matias Soule.

The young Argentine striker was called up by national coach Lionel Scaloni for the first time this season and has gone on to become a key figure in the Roma front line.

Buoyed by the 11 Serie A goals he scored at Frosinone on loan from Juventus last season, he has risen to the challenge of a £35m price tag with five goals, four of them since the middle of February.

Always playing understudy behind Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk, with those two injured he is taking his chance to shine.

Get on the 22-year-old to mark Ranieri's last game in the technical area by scoring at any time at 11/5.
