Southwell Tips: Jetronic can soar to success on Tuesday

Southwell stages a six-race jumps card on Tuesday afternoon and the action is highlighted by a five-runner handicap chase at 15:20.
I've come up with three Southwell tips for consideration, including one who drops in class after taking a step in the right direction at Newbury last time out.

15:20 - Jetronic @ 8/1
Just five runners go to post in the two-mile handicap chase at 15:20 and this looks a good opportunity for JETRONIC to strike.
Gary and Josh Moore’s charge ran well when finishing third at Newbury last time out and that was a far stronger race than this Southwell contest.
The six-year-old finished behind Ballybreeze, who has since gone on to win at Chepstow, as well as the 131-rated Teddy Blue, who was previously trained by the Moore team.
Jetronic was still a little too keen in a first-time tongue-tie and cheekpieces last time out, but the effort was certainly a step in the right direction.
The son of Reliable Man has been freshened up off a 59-day break and it would be no surprise should Jetronic step forward again this afternoon.

16:50 - The Last Drop @ 6/1
THE LAST DROP finished down the field at Uttoxeter 17 days ago, but that was a pretty eye-catching effort and Richard Phillips’ runner can show more in the novices’ handicap hurdle at 16:50.
The six-year-old was held up in rear at the Midlands venue, but made pretty good headway two out and stayed on close to home.
That was The Last Drop’s first run for 346 days, but Phillips’ runner was sent off a 6/1 chance at Uttoxeter suggesting that plenty of ability remains.
The six-year-old will have only his fourth start over hurdles and second run in a handicap in this race, which means there could well be more to come.

17:25 - Leading Force @ 11/8
The final race on the card at 17:25 can go to LEADING FORCE on debut for trainer James Owen.
The eight-year-old was formally in the care of Sandy Thomson and earned a peak hurdle handicap rating of 111 for the Scottish handler.
The son of Leading Force has since plummeted down to a mark of 97 and will also get the assistance of Sean Bowen in the saddle for this race.
Clearly, a chance has to be taken on Leading Light bouncing back to form, but this wouldn’t be the first time trainer Owen has rejuvenated a faded performer.
