Lucky 15 Tips: Four fancies for Friday’s racing action

With seven British & Irish meetings taking place across Friday, there's lots of racing action to cater for all tastes - including a seven-race card, running from 16:30-20:05, at Chepstow.
It's to the Welsh venue I go to put together my Lucky 15 tips, which includes a maiden taken to finally get off the mark having showed encouragement last time out.
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, April 25
- 13:32 Perth - Spadestep @ 13/8
- 17:05 Chepstow - Isle Of Gold @ 7/1
- 17:35 Chepstow - Ukantango @ 8/1
- 19:35 Chepstow - Pink Eyed Pedro @ 9/2
*odds correct at time of publication
13:32 Perth - Spadestep @ 13/8
Lucinda Russell's SPADESTEP is taken to open his account under rules at Perth on Friday.
On his debut in Cumbria, he finished a narrow runner-up to Bel Amigo, but had his other eight rivals over 10 lengths adrift. Failing to win on debut is actually a benefit to him here, for he escapes penalties - something that can't be said for his main market rivals.
17:05 Chepstow - Isle Of Gold @ 7/1
The Kim Bailey & Mat Nicholls-trained ISLE OF GOLD finished fourth behind a very progressive Dai Walters-owned runner on his hurdles debut at this course in March 2023 but has had injury issues and was off the track for more than a year.
Fifth behind the disqualified Captain Bellamy on his return at Newbury in December, he ran in snatches when runner-up behind an impressive winner over the extended 3m1f at Warwick on his handicap debut, but rallied at the finish, so this step up in trip will be a plus.
17:35 Chepstow - Ukantango @ 8/1
Olly Murphy's UKANTANGO has been off the track for close to a year so fitness will have to be taken on trust, but if he brings his best he could take all the beating in the 2m handicap hurdle.
The bumper and dual hurdles winner finished runner-up in a Cheltenham Grade 2 hurdle in 2022. He had a spell over fences where he was winless in five outings but a mark of 116 back over timber could prove to be lenient with Lewis Stones taking a further 3lb off in the plate.

19:35 Chepstow - Pink Eyed Pedro @ 9/2
Onto the 3m hunters' chase we go next and fresh from a hat-trick of wins on the point-to-point circuit, Dalamoi could be a warm order. However, we fancy PINK EYED PEDRO to bounce back to form around a track he enjoys.
The dual course winner, including over this trip, arrives on top of his game after a win and a second in point-to-points and leading amateur rider James King will take the ride.
The odds may fluctuate between time of publication and the respective races - but a 50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections at the quoted prices, assuming all four won, would return around £XX for a total £7.50 stake.
