Lucky 15 Tips: Four to follow across Plumpton and Ffos Las on Sunday

Jump racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Sunday with five meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening.  

First off is Cork before they go at Ffos Las, Fairyhouse, Plumpton and Southwell. Amongst our Sunday fancies is one for trainer Anthony Charlton whose experience should stand to him in a winnable maiden hurdle. 

14:10 Plumpton - Another Folly @ 10/1

Four runners are set to go to post for the opening conditional jockeys' handicap chase at Plumpton and it's a contest that won't take much winning.  

Still a maiden from nine starts, ANOTHER FOLLY's best efforts have come over fences, hitting the frame at Exeter and Wincanton over the winter months.  

He ran a shocker at the latter track last month but has to enter the equation off his current mark if he can bounce back. 

14:45 Plumpton - Time For Tea @ 4/1

We are tipping another maiden in the following mares' novices' handicap hurdle but TIME FOR TEA showed enough at Southwell last month to warrant a bet here.  

Sent off an 80/1 shot for her latest outing off the back of being pulled up on her first two starts for her new yard since leaving Henry de Bromhead, she stayed on well to finish third on the day and this looks like an easier race. She has to be considered from the same mark. 

15:20 Plumpton - Thankyouandplease @ 18/1

The Moores have won this maiden hurdle three times in the last five years so Bohemian Breeze has to be worth a market check on his hurdling debut, but a chance is taken on Anthony Charlton's THANKYOUANDPLEASE finding the sufficient improvement needed to win at the third attempt under rules.  

The son of Authorized was well beaten in his first two outings, but had no chance against the 1/14 favourite Kayf Dancer at Exeter last time out.  

 He will improve for a step up in trip in time but the former point runner-up can put his experience to good use here. 

15:30 Ffos Las - Chauffeur Driven @ 17/2

Still a maiden after 13 starts under rules, CHAUFFEUR DRIVEN can get off the mark for David Pipe now. He was picked up for a hefty £65,000 after winning an Irish point in 2023, and although he has yet to fully convince over hurdles, he might be a different proposition on his chase debut over this sort of trip.  

Runner-up in a 2m6f handicap hurdle at Exeter off 91 on his penultimate outing in February, he's 2lb lower than that on his debut in this sphere and there's no better trainer out there than Pipe to line one up for a handicap. Today could finally be the day for him. 

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
