When is the Grand National 2025?

It's nearly here - the great Aintree Festival which has as its mighty crescendo the Randox Grand National on Saturday, April 5. The race is scheduled to start at 16:00. You can check out all the preamble over at our Grand National Betting Hub.

Three days of top-class National Hunt racing, kicking off on Thursday with FOUR Grade 1 contests on the spin - talk about starting with a bang. There's another four at the highest level on Friday, and on Saturday a further three in support of the big one - the world-famous, greatly-anticipated, utterly unique spectacle over a distance of 4m 2.5f and the small matter of 30 fences.

We've white-hot handicaps to savour throughout too, and further select opportunities to view those fabulous, fabled National fences (courtesy of the Foxhunters on Thursday, and the Topham on Friday).

The Grand National - Red Rum, Aldaniti, Tiger Roll - just a handful of the legendary horses synonymous with this place and a cherished part of Aintree folklore. Who will join them this year?
