Exeter Tips: Hat-trick on the cards for Morrison charge

After the excitement of the Cheltenham Festival last week, National Hunt fans can look forward to a routine card at Exeter on Tuesday.
Seven races are planned from 14:15 until 17:35, with the going set to be good, good to firm in places. While three of the races have three runners or fewer, there are a few competitive battles and we have picked out three tips for Tuesday's card.

15:17 - Le Ligerien @ 5/4
The third race of the day looks like it could be down to a battle between Stoner's Choice and LE LIGERIEN.
Stoner's Choice will head to Exeter after a good second over hurdles at Kempton and he cannot be overlooked as he reverts to chasing.
However, Le Ligerien has already won over the bigger obstacles this season, winning a six-runner contest at Lingfield in December.
The son of Turgeon won by just over five lengths that day and he has yet to finish outside the top three since having wind surgery in August 2024.
Joe Tizzard's runner has won six times in total over fences, and that experience puts him in good stead ahead of Tuesday's battle.

16:27 - The Long Point @ 9/4
Fresh after finishing second at Kempton in February, THE LONG POINT returns to action as connections look to win for the second time with the son of Kingston Hill.
The six-year-old is relatively lightly raced for a six-year-old, having only competed four times since making a winning debut at Huntingdon in May 2024.
He has since finished fourth at Warwick and Hereford, before returning this year and finishing second behind Star of Affinity.
Connections have decided to step him up in trip and he is expected to improve as a result.

17:02 - Filanderer @ 13/8
Trainer Hughie Morrison will look to land the hat-trick on Tuesday as FILANDERER returns to the track on the south coast.
The nine-year-old won at the end of January, beating Diamond Dice by just over a length at Wincanton, while his previous win came at Market Rasen last October.
Connections had had to wait nearly three years between his first two victories, but whatever Morrison is doing is working.
Tuesday's rivals do not offer much of a threat and, even though the handicapper has handed Filanderer a 5lb penalty, it should not be enough to slow him down in his bid to land a rare hat-trick.
Sea Invasion is perhaps his biggest rival due to a falling mark and jockey Chad Bament will claim 7lbs, but Filanderer seems to be in the form of his life and can land the spoils towards the end of Tuesday's card.
