Mares’ Chase Odds: Dino won’t want to be feeling Blue

The final day (Friday) of the Cheltenham Festival is all about the Gold Cup but there are some other cracking races in store. For example, the Mares' Chase (14:40), in which training guru Willie Mullins boasts the top-two favourites.
However, they are coming up against the winner of last year's race, Limerick Lace, trained by Gavin Cromwell, who defeated both of them. Below you will find the odds for the runners in the Mares' Chase for 2025.
Mares' Chase Odds - Friday, March 14
- Dinoblue @ 11/10
- Allegorie De Vassy @ 7/2
- Brides Hill @ 6/1
- Limerick Lace @ 6/1
- Shecouldbeanything @ 14/1
- Bar - 33/1

Dinoblue @ 11/10
Mullins' best chance this year is Dinoblue. She was the favourite in this race last year at 15/8 and ran a largely strong race, in which she was only beaten by three-quarters of a length by Limerick Lace.
The eight-year-old faltered two fences out but did well to make up ground towards the post. Dinoblue won on her last outing in Naas in February, narrowly beating stablemate Allegorie De Vassy. Running for owner JP McManus, who has enjoyed many victories at Prestbury Park. Big chance.
Allegorie De Vassy @ 7/2
Allegorie De Vassy is expected to be in the mix, with Mullins in with a strong chance of getting both his entries in the top three. Defeat here last year had a negative effect on his next two runs at Punchestown and Clonmel. Finished fourth in both but was well-beaten on both occasions.
Responded brilliantly on New Year's Day at Fairyhouse, beating Limerick Lace by a whopping 25 lengths. This was followed a second-place finish behind Dinoblue at Naas last month.
She will once again be ridden by Paul Townend, a vastly-experienced jockey at the Festival. Has a strong chance on her best form.
Brides Hill @ 6/1
Cromwell-trained Brides Hill will be hoping to be in the mix in what will be her first appearance at Prestbury Park. The eight-year-old has already achieved four victories over this distance but has been beaten on her last two outings in which she was the short-price favourite on both occasions.
She will be ridden by Keith Donoghue on Friday, who was in the saddle for three of her victories over this distance. Should be fresh coming into this and can certainly have a say towards the last.

Limerick Lace @ 6/1
Donoghue was jockey for Cromwell's winner Limerick Lace last year, and the fact he is partnered with another stablemate would indicate that Cromwell fancies Brides Hill's chances more than the defending champion.
Jack Kennedy is on duty on this occasion but Limerick Lace will need an incredible performance to retain her crown as she has not made great strides since her triumph a year ago. She has not been up to standard on her last two starts at Fairyhouse and Haydock and it could be a bitterly disappointing return to the Festival.
Shecouldbeanything @ 14/1
Gordon Elliott's entry, Shecouldbeanything, finished a close sixth in the Mares' Novice Hurdle at this meeting two years ago and enjoyed a sprightly spell at the in her early days over fences, winning on all four of her first starts.
The eight-year-old gave a valiant effort in her last run over this distance but it was still a tough task for her. This is only going to be harder. There might be improvement but it's hard to see it being enough against the others in this field.
