Leicester City will hope to improve their fortunes at home in the Premier League when they host Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Saturday (12:30, TNT Sports 1). The Foxes have lost four in a row on home turf as their survival mission continues to get tougher.

Arsenal head here following their 5-1 hammering of Manchester City on February 2, but they have suffered a fresh personnel blow since then. This will be revealed below alongside my Leicester vs Arsenal predictions, which also includes the latest team news and match odds.

Leicester vs Arsenal Betting Tips

  • Arsenal to win to nil @ 1/1
  • Under 2.5 goals @ 5/4

Leicester vs Arsenal Odds

Leicester have won two of their 12 Premier League home games this term and are subsequently 11/1 to defeat the Gunners. Two of Arsenal's last five away trips in the top flight have ended in a stalemate, which can be backed at 9/2.

Arsenal are 2/7 to come away with the three points, which they have managed in their previous two outings in the league. You will find better value in backing them to win to nil, which has been a successful bet in half (seven) of their 14 victories this campaign. This selection is available at 1/1, which has an implied probability of 50%.

Leicester midfielder Boubakary Soumare has been booked eight times this season and five of them have come against sides currently placed in the top eight. He is the 9/4 favourite to go into the book on Saturday.

Team News

The Foxes remain without Abdul Fatawu due to a severe knee injury, and he is not expected to be seen again until 2025/26. Ricardo Pereira is still a few weeks away from returning from a hamstring issue that he sustained in November.

Boss Ruud van Nistelrooy might be without defenders Victor Kristiansen and Jannik Vestergaard, who are both dealing with knocks. However, Van Nistelrooy was impressed with Caleb Okoli's performance against Manchester United in the FA Cup last Friday, so he is likely to keep his place in the back line.

Leicester are also sweating over the fitness of veteran forward Jamie Vardy due to a light injury of his own. Only Harry Kane (14) and Wayne Rooney (12) have bagged more Premier League goals against Arsenal than Vardy (11).

The huge blow that Arsenal have suffered this week is a hamstring injury to makeshift centre-forward Kai Havertz, who could be ruled out for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta's attacking ranks are down to the bare bones now, with only Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling and Ethan Nwaneri fit to play.

Gabriel Martinelli was removed during Arsenal's Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg defeat at Newcastle United with a hamstring strain and the last thing that was said about his situation was that he was going to have an MRI scan. He remains a doubt for the Gunners.

Bukayo Saka (hamstring) and Gabriel Jesus (ACL) remain out of action, with the latter's season having come to an end. Takehiro Tomiyasu is set for knee surgery, having been out of action for several months.

Arsenal to win to nil @ 1/1

Attacking options may be lacking, but Arsenal still have more than enough quality across the pitch to gain a positive result against a struggling Leicester side.

The Foxes' last league outing saw them thrashed 4-0 at Everton and they have been beaten in their last four top-flight appearances at the King Power. They blanked in each of them, too, so I think Arsenal are worth backing to win to nil here.

As mentioned earlier, seven of their 14 wins this term have seen them record a shutout, and three of these victories have come away from the Emirates. The Gunners also boast the best defensive record in the division, with just 22 goals conceded in 24 matches (average of 0.91 per game).

Key attackers may be missing but I think Arsenal can rely on other individuals to get past one of the worst teams in the league. Let's not forget their attacking threat from set-pieces, either, which could be crucial for them in the next few months.

Leicester vs Arsenal - To Win to Nil Arsenal

Under 2.5 goals @ 5/4

I think this market looks attractive for this contest because it has struck in the past three Premier League fixtures at the King Power. Leicester have looked toothless going forward at home of late and they are coming up the best defence in the division.

Arsenal's forward options are depleted so they may struggle to create as much against Leicester as they did against Man City, but I still think they have enough resources available to grab one or two goals in LE2.
