How to play online bingo
Similar to the bingo that is played in person, a player will purchase a ticket for a game. You will then enter a virtual room and in the corner you will notice the details of the game name, how many players there are, details of the prizes on offer and the value of each, as well as which one is currently being played for.
As you would expect, your ticket comes with a random allocation of numbers, which appear on the balls contained in the virtual bingo machine that are subsequently notched if called.
Players have the choice to 'dab' their own tickets, which involves marking the numbers on the ticket with your mouse. There is also an auto dab option, so your numbers will be marked automatically if your numbers come up.
An option on the screen allows players to sort their tickets by either strips or ticket, which will highlight those closest to winning the current prize on offer. 'Sort Strips' will be the default mode once the game starts. The toggle will go green to make it clear which option is active.
During each game of bingo, the right hand side of the ticket displays the number of balls needed to win the current prize and the corresponding row(s) on the ticket nearest to winning are highlighted. The tickets are also colour coded with different colours depending on how many balls there are to go.
