Lucky 15 Tips: Harry can engineer follow-up success on Wednesday

Midweek is upon us dear reader, and Sunbury-on-Thames beckons. Kempton stage a seven-race Polytrack meet which kicks in at 17:30 under lights, and the likes of Tom Marquand, Danny Muscott and Richard Kingscote are happily in attendance.

Horse Racing Odds

17:30 - Tribal Act @ 6/4

Three-year-old maiden, around 1m 3f, and a gelded son of the magnificent Sea The Stars.

Tribal Act has faced the starter just once - here, in mid-December. He was slowly away and kept on encouragingly, running green, when the principals were away and gone.

He represents the mighty Godolphin empire and brilliant trainer Charlie Appleby, with Dougie Costello up top instead of James Doyle. It's Dougie's only booked ride on the card and I fully expect it to be a winning one.

18:00 - Beauty Generation @ 5/2

A one-mile handicap; and a selection gearing up to take one of these at any moment.

The Marcos are in tandem once again - Botti trains, Ghiani rides. Beauty Generation ran here 14 days ago and failed by a neck in a field of 12. He's up just a pound for that which looks more than fair, and he did go close in September off 69.

The four-year-old gelded son of Ulysses has been rated as high as 74 previously but has yet to win a handicap - his solitary score in 15 career starts being a Chelmsford maiden around 18 months ago.

In good order, and in an eminently winnable-looking heat, he's a sound pick.

19:00 - Mammy @ 9/4

A four-year-old Bated Breath filly now, from the Michael Bell yard at Newmarket.

Mammy took a handicap 13 days ago off 61, under today's excellent 3lb claimer Joe Leavy, and gets a slight class hike plus a 2lb penalty for her trouble. Nice performance though, returning from a break of 110 days.

It was her first success after hitting the proverbial post a few times in her nine other starts, and now the penny has dropped there could well be scope to go in again off such a relatively similar mark.

Has run here once before, and after a tardy start didn't really figure. She's a better filly now I reckon, and generally much better out of the gate, too.

19:30 - Kiniro @ 5/2

I like horses trailed by Harry Charlton, as I did those cared for by his father Roger, and though runners are invariably few and far between it often pays to accord them the utmost respect.

Three-year-old Havana Gold gelding Kiniro is having career start number four today, and thus far there's been a pleasingly upward trajectory to observe.

Last time out at Lingers 13 days ago he readily took a 6f maiden and steps right in to Class 4 handicap company today. Jockey Trever Whelan knows him well and is once again on board tonight, as connections look to stretch out an extra furlong which on breeding is virtually sure to suit.

His talented Dad took a G1 at a mile aged three, and he's another I've plenty of confidence in.
