Hibs welcome Rangers to Easter Road on Sunday for a noon kickoff you can follow live on Sky Sports Main Event. The home team enter on the back of an improved run of form that has lifted them from bottom of the Premiership to within touching distance of a place in the top six.
The Hibees are unbeaten in five previous league starts, thanks to four wins and a draw in their last outing. Will they continue that purple patch this weekend?
December was another frustrating month for Rangers fans. The Gers moved to second in the table, taking advantage of Aberdeen’s dip in form. They also pushed Celtic all the way in the League Cup final at Hampden and drew 1-1 with Tottenham at Ibrox. But Philippe Clement’s blues took one point from six when losing to St Mirren and drawing with Motherwell.
January began with a stunning 3-0 home win in Thursday’s Old Firm derby. Will the Glaswegians nail a 13th victory in 20 games? You can have your say at Betfred.
Despite entering Sunday’s game in fine form and looking like a side capable of finishing in the top six, Hibs start as the betting underdogs on the Betfred website and app. David Gray’s side battled to a 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park in midweek.
They needed a late goal to rescue a share of the spoils against bottom of the league who were reduced to ten men in the first half. Fancy Hibs to return to winning ways? You can back the hosts at an eye-catching 5/1.
Rangers travel from Govan to Scotland’s capital in high spirits following that unexpected but fully deserved home win over Celtic in the New Year’s derby. Gers grabbed control of the game early, taking a lead into the break thanks to Ianis Hagi who found the net from distance.
Second half strikes from Robin Propper and Danilo wrapped up a memorable day for the fans. Winning the Old Firm will do wonders for the squad’s confidence, but will they build on that victory? You can back Rangers at 4/7 or try the draw at 10/3.
Under 2.5 goals
Despite beating Celtic for the first time, the league looks over for Clement with the Hoops enjoying an 11-point cushion. A poor record on the road is to blame, with Rangers performing much better at Ibrox than when on their travels. To stand any chance of making life uncomfortable for the league leaders, Gers must improve on their away form, starting with the game at Easter Road.
Rangers kept a clean sheet on Thursday against the highest scorers in the league. Hibs conceded one goal on Thursday and have leaked four goals in their last five games. Clement knows his men must be organised at the back to stand any chance of taking the points back to Govan.
With a competitive and tense match expected, we start with a bet on under 2.5 goals at 5/4. That would’ve been a winning bet in three of the previous four games involving these famous rivals.

Igamane to score
If Rangers are to get the win in Edinburgh, they’ll need their big players to stand up and make a difference. They must turn chances into goals and eliminate the mistakes in defence. In Hamza Igamane, the visitors have an exciting young attacker with a thirst for goals and the character to win games.
Igamane came off the bench to score twice at Fir Park in Rangers’ last away game. The Moroccan also found the net in three games on the bounce last month when scoring against Kilmarnock, Ross County and English Premier League big-guns, Tottenham.
Back Igamane to add to his reputation with another goal anytime during the play at odds of 7/5. That bet will hold your interest while the 22-year-old is on the pitch.
