Leicester City vs Manchester City Prediction: Visitors in need of a win

Manchester City will once again attempt to end their miserable run of form when they travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday (14:30, live on Sky Sports Main Event) to take on Leicester City.
City were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton on Boxing Day, while the Foxes were comfortably beaten at Anfield despite taking the lead. Read on for my Leicester City vs Manchester City prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Team News
Leicester talisman Jamie Vardy missed out on the trip to Anfield with a knock, and Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hopeful that the former England international can make a return here.
Issahaku Fatawu, Mads Hermansen and Ricardo Pereira remain on the sidelines for the Foxes, however Harry Winks made his return from injury against Liverpool, and will be hoping to keep his spot in the engine room.
As for City, they are expected to be without the likes of Oscar Bobb, Ruben Dias, Jack Grealish and John Stones. However, Kevin De Bruyne was limited to a substitute's appearance against Everton, so the Belgian could be handed a start on Sunday.

Despite their poor run of form, City are 1/3 favourites for the match, giving them an implied win probability of 75%, while a Leicester win is 7/1 and the draw is available to back at 5/1.
Erling Haaland tops the anytime goalscorer market at 8/15, while Vardy is shortest-priced for the hosts at 9/4.
Draw @ 5/1
Perhaps this is ambitious of me given Leicester's poor defensive record and their position in the table, but I think the draw is worth backing on Sunday, especially at 5/1.
As mentioned in the introduction, City had to settle for a point against Everton on Boxing Day, meaning that their dreadful run now stretches to one win in 13 games.
With that slump stemming all the way back to the end of October, Sunday’s guests are desperately seeking some kind of boost. The draw with the Toffees saw City drop out of the Champions League spots, so Pep Guardiola's side will once again have a tremendous amount of pressure on their shoulders to secure a victory here.
The Foxes, meanwhile, are fighting for survival and need every point they can get. Van Nistelrooy will have been in dreamland after Jordan Ayew's effort put his team a goal to the good at Anfield on Thursday night, but their defensive struggles continued, and they've now lost each of their last three Premier League appearances by an aggregate score of 10-1.
City have won four of the last five encounters between the pair, but I can see their poor run of form continuing here.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Both teams to score - yes @ 4/7
Both teams have scored in five of City's last eight games, while the same bet has landed in five of Leicester's last seven outings, suggesting that there could be goals at both ends on Sunday.
In fact, both teams have scored in 14 of Leicester's 18 Premier League contests, equating to 78 per cent of their league fixtures this campaign - the third-highest tally in the division. The Foxes' defensive issues are well documented, and they haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of October.
Despite City's woeful run of results, they don't seem to be having any issues in finding the back of the net, scoring in each of their last five league games.
