Lucky 15 Tips: Powerful Karl Burke yard has chances

There's a nine-race all-weather Tapeta card at Newcastle with our name on it for Friday, December 6. An ideal vehicle for our Lucky 15 tips, good fields, and plenty of top yards/jockeys on show.
One winner yesterday - powering clear up the straight in exactly the manner I'd prescribed for him, but not at a price to keep us in the lap of luxury. We go again and all that jazz, and the action in the North-East kicks in at 15:13, taking us through until 19:20.
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, December 6
Newcastle
15:48 - Manton Road @ 9/2
A two-year-old gelding with some useful experience who's recently joined Gay Kellaway from the Jack Jones yard.
Manton Road was fourth in a similar affair at Wolves over a furlong less 42 days ago (beaten 6l and change, and raised a pound to 46 for today). No-nonsense Arc-winning jockey Luke Morris has been booked, and though he's had less than a week to settle into his new surroundings, he might just start right royally by taking this modest event.
Has run perfectly respectably on the all-weather previously.
16:20 - Thunder Earthlight @ 9/4
One run to date, here, 13 days ago. Looked like he'd dot up for much of the trip, then rather faded tamely in the last furlong. Compensation-time?
Thunder Earthlight is a colt in the care of Karl Burke on Middleham Moor, and his powerful yard my have him straighter and wiser for this. Fellow northern giants Messrs Fahey and O'Meara oppose, but this modest little novice should be well within his compass.
No heroic single stakes - happy to leave it in my L15 and hope he can be finessed into it late in the piece, by his jockey Sam James.
16:50 - Fastcase @ 4/1
Karl Burke again, this time with a two-year-old colt by Showcasing out of a Fastnet Rock mare.
Around half the field, including Fastcase, haven't seen a racecourse yet and I'm entirely reliant upon the fact that his stable is very potent, and the owner Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum is highly prolific with his horses across several, invariably top drawer, stables.
Cliff Lee is in the plate on this occasion.
17:20 - Dolce Courage @ 9/1
I'm taking a bit of a punt here with a four-year-old gelded son of Siyouni who has just joined James Horton from Team Gosden.
Dolce Courage is a course-and-distance scorer who again might benefit from a little change of scenery. Three runs only in 14 months, and two of those were wins back in October '23.
After a 44-day break and that change of address he rocks up to Gosforth Park with undoubted ability under the saddle and might just surprise a few at what I think is a great price.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.25p each-way Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £470 for your total £7.50 stake.
