Lucky 15 Tips: Warrior has former champ Hughes on his side

Two winners at Sedgefield on Tuesday. Two winners and a non-runner at Dundalk on Wednesday. Anyone might think that now and again we almost know what we're doing? (insert smiley face - oh yes).
Yesterday's effort returned £25.75 for our suggested £7.50 outlay, and that's very pleasing. For Thursday's Lucky 15 tips I'm heading up to Musselburgh for some jumping - a venue we don't often visit, so all the more reason to do so. Action starts at 12:25, and it's a six-race card.
Lucky 15 Betting Tips - Thursday, November 28
Musselburgh
13:00 - Spartan Warrior @ 5/1
Rated 70 on the level, and making his hurdling debut.
A gelded son of prolific sire Saxon Warrior, this Rebecca Menzies-trained, Brian Hughes-ridden three-year-old ran here on the flat three weeks ago. Spartan Warrior is a winning modest-level handicapper, and stayed middle-distances perfectly well.
The booking of Brian Hughes is a big plus - it's easy to forget that in this present climate of Bowen and Cobden going at it hammer and tongs for the jockey's title, Brian is a multiple champion himself. Precious little form to go on then, but should be a fascinating little heat.
13:35 - I'm Too Tired @ 6/1
Novice chasers now, and a gelded four-year-old son of Ribchester, a Group 1 winner on the flat at Royal Ascot no less.
I'm Too Tired is with Jennie Candlish in Staffordshire, and travels north a fortnight after a decent reappearance effort at Sedgefield. That will have shaken off the 205-day cobwebs and this 99-rated hurdler now makes his chasing debut.
Sean Quinlan rides, and let's hope the fencing game is the making of him.
14:45 - Cardamon Hill @ 5/1
Experienced, decent-level staying chasers now, and a selection trained in Cumbria by Dianne Sayer. Henry Brooke is in the plate.
Cardamon Hill won narrowly 12 days ago in a conditional jockeys heat at Wetherby, and is only a pound higher in today's handicap. That was the seven-year-old gelded son of Presenting's best effort to date and it's encouraging that he's back in action relatively swiftly for this.
15:20 - Maillot Blanc @ 7/2
Dominic Hislop, a 10lb claimer, is on board for trainer Nick Alexander. Dominic is looking I believe for winner number two from just the handful of rides he's had, but I'm hoping he's well worth that huge weight bonus.
The seven-year-old Maillot Blanc steps up to three miles for the first time and that looks a worthwhile ploy. This doesn't look a strong test and he has won once thus far, for previous trainer Sophie Leech.
Nick's had him for just over a year and Dominic was on board last time so should know the horse's quirks. Speculative punt, but plenty going for him.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £1,070 for your total £7.50 stake.
