Italy vs New Zealand Prediction: Strong All Blacks talking no chances in Turin

Naming an impressive squad for their final Autumn Nations Series game of the month against Italy, New Zealand head coach Scott Robertson clearly wants his side to finish their European tour off in style on Saturday night in Turin (20:10 kick-off).
A wounded All Blacks team is a dangerous beast and the Kiwis head into Saturday’s game on the back of a 30-29 defeat at the hands of France in Paris.
Italy must be wary of an All Blacks backlash, but being ready for New Zealand and trying to stop them are two very different things. Below you can find my Italy vs New Zealand predictions.
Italy vs New Zealand Betting Tips
Team news
Starting with the hosts, head coach Gonzalo Quesada has made six changes from the side that just scraped past Georgia last weekend 20-17.
The key changes in the back division see Azzurri star Ange Capuozzo return at full-back in the place of Matt Gallagher, while Paolo Garbisi and Martin Page-Relo start in the half-backs.
As for New Zealand, Sam Cane and TJ Perenara look set to play for the All Blacks one last time before taking on club opportunities abroad.
Jodie Barrett is injured, so Anton Linert-Brown will partner Rieko Ioane in the centres, while Mark Telea returns from a hand injury to start on the wing.
In the forwards, lock Patrick Tuipulotu joins Scott Barrett in the engine room, while Tupou Vaa’i drops down to the bench.
Match odds
New Zealand are such heavy favourites there are no odds on an All Blacks win on Saturday.
Italy are 16/1 to cause a major upset and earn their first-ever win over New Zealand this weekend, while at Allianz Stadium in Turin is available at 33/1.
New Zealand -31 handicap @ 1/1
These sides last met at the 2023 World Cup on French soil and it was a night to forget for Italy, as they were thrashed 96-17 by the All Blacks in Lyon.
While the margin of victory for New Zealand is unlikely to be as substantial this weekend, the Kiwis should be able to fall on the right side of the -31 handicap.
The All Blacks won 47-9 in their last game against the Azzurri in Italy in 2021 and a similar scoreline might well be on the cards here.

Beauden Barrett anytime tryscorer @ 7/5
Having scored 41 Test tries in his career so far, Beauden Barrett is more than capable of adding to his impressive tally this weekend against Italy.
Handed the No.10 jersey for this one ahead of the talented Damian McKenzie, Barrett can exploit gaps in the Italian defence, while his support lines are also a great source of tries for the veteran playmaker.
At 33 years old, Barrett still has the acceleration to beat defenders and the utility back is great value at 7/5 in the anytime tryscorer market for this one.
