Over 2.5 Goals Tips: 46/1 seven-fold from Saturday’s action

The international break is over - thankfully, and now we can get back to club football for four months. There is a fest of action coming our way from the Football League this Saturday, and so punters will be thinking about accumulators for the weekend.
In this edition, I'm thinking of games to look out for when it comes to over 2.5 goals. I've gone big this week with seven selections, which have been hand-picked from the Premier League and League 1. You will find my over 2.5 goals tips below.
Over 2.5 Goals Tips - Saturday, November 23
- AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion @ 8/15
- Everton vs Brentford @ 4/5
- Shrewsbury Town vs Birmingham City @ 4/6
- Bolton Wanderers vs Blackpool @ 8/13
- Burton Albion vs Stockport County @ 5/6
- Lincoln City vs Wycombe Wanderers @ 10/11
- Barnsley vs Wigan Athletic @ 5/6

AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion @ 8/15
Starting in the top-flight in Dorset as AFC Bournemouth welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Vitality Stadium. I like the two sets of attackers on both teams here, so I think we could be in for a flurry of goals on Saturday.
The Cherries have scored 15 goals this term, while the Seagulls have amassed 19 for themselves. Over 2.5 goals has been a winning selection in just two of Bournemouth's home games in the Premier League to date, but I think this tally can be raised when Brighton come to town.
The visitors have seen at least three goals scored in three of their five away games in the top-flight this term, and I can see this trend continuing in Bournemouth at the weekend.
My thinking has been aided by the fact that they both have a prolific goalscorer in their side. Antoine Semenyo has four league goals for the hosts, while Brighton's Danny Welbeck has six to his name already. I think both can have an impact on this selection landing.
Everton vs Brentford @ 4/5
Moving up to Merseyside now where Everton take on Brentford. Over 2.5 goals has frequented Goodison Park three times in the Premier League already in 2024/25, but the Toffees' last two matches here have seen less than three goals scored.
This doesn't concern me because of who they are up against. Brentford have been involved in a lot of goal-filled matches in the top-flight so far this season, with nine of their 11 matches to date having produced at least three goals. You have to go back to September for the last time less than three goals were scored in a Premier League game involving the Bees.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of their five away matches to date, so I think this bodes well for their trip to Liverpool on Saturday.
Shrewsbury Town vs Birmingham City @ 4/6
Gareth Ainsworth takes charge of his first game as manager of Shrewsbury Town this weekend as they entertain League 1 promotion favourites Birmingham City. Ainsworth has been tasked with steering the bottom side to safety but he certainly has his work cut out for him.
The Shrews have conceded 27 goals this campaign but only six of their 15 matches have featured over 2.5 goals. This doesn't worry me too much as the Blues have scored 24 goals already this term, and over 2.5 goals has landed in three of their six away games in the third tier to date.
They have also played the Shrews at this ground already in the EFL Trophy, in which they comfortably won 4-0.
Bolton Wanderers vs Blackpool @ 8/13
After a slow start, Bolton Wanderers are making their way up the table and they will look to get back to winning ways against Blackpool on Saturday. The Trotters have seen four of their seven home games in the league so far produce at least three goals, including three of their last four.
Over 2.5 goals has been following the Tangerines for most of this season, with this market landing in 11 of their 14 league appearances. Steve Bruce's side have been involved in a lot of goal-filled clashes on the road with five of their seven away games seeing at least three goals scored.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Burton Albion vs Stockport County @ 5/6
Another struggling side in League 1 is Burton Albion, who are second bottom in the table. They have shipped 25 goals already and they face one of the best attacking teams in the division in Stockport County this weekend, who have scored on 26 occasions.
The Hatters boast the league's leading marksman in Louie Barry, who has 11 goals already. He will be raring to go against one of the most fragile defences in the league, and I think he can give a helping hand to this market delivering in Staffordshire.
I can see this being a routine win for the visitors and there have been three occasions already this campaign in which they have scored three or more goals in a match.
Lincoln City vs Wycombe Wanderers @ 10/11
League leaders Wycombe Wanderers head to Lincoln City on Saturday looking to maintain top spot. Matt Bloomfield's side are the top scorers in the division with 32 goals, so over 2.5 goals has appeared many times in their matches in 2024/25.
Seven of the Chairboys' eight away matches have produced at least three goals scored, so I am expecting this trend to continue against the Imps on Saturday. Additionally, Lincoln have seen over 2.5 goals land in six of their seven home games to date in League 1.
Barnsley vs Wigan Athletic @ 5/6
Barnsley will be looking to strengthen their place in the top six on Saturday when they face Wigan Athletic. The Tykes are unbeaten in their last five matches and they have mustered 24 goals so far.
When playing at Oakwell, there have been at least three goals scored in five of the Tykes' seven matches in the league - including two of their last three appearances here.
