Wolverhampton Tips: Rock to go hunting on Thursday

The first snow of winter may have hit the UK this week, but praise be to the all-weather tracks across the country. On Thursday, there is action from Wolverhampton, with nine races on offer.
I've had a good look at the card and picked out three runners that I think offer good value to punters. Read on for my Wolverhampton tips for Thursday, November 21.
Wolverhampton Tips - Thursday, November 21
16:10 - Rock Hunter @ 3/1
This two-year-old gelding is featured in the opening race and he does boast a lot more experience than some of the other runners in the field. ROCK HUNTER has claimed a victory over this distance (5f) but this came on his first-ever race at Chantilly back in April.
However, the Amy Murphy-trained gelding is 0-9 since that triumph, which could concern punters heading into Thursday. Despite this, Rock Hunter gave an encouraging performance on his AW debut at Chelmsford earlier this month, finishing fourth.
That was over 6f, whereas I think he has a decent chance of winning here based on that form and with less distance to cover this time around.

17:10 - Wild Angel @ 6/4
This Charlie Appleby-trained filly is preparing to take part in her second all-weather race after her debut at Kempton back in September. She gave a strong run and was in keeping touch with the leaders, but she hung right in final stretch which impacted her finish.
There have been improvements on that front since her appearances at Newmarket, but it still feels like that work is needed for WILD ANGEL to reach her potential. Her last outing saw her lead for much of the race before slipping to third at the finish.
Stamina towards the end is a concern, and that is going to be tested here with the race over a mile, and she's been accustomed to 7f distances. There is something about her that makes me think she could have a real shot here.
She's been placing in races so far while there is still work to be done to mould her into a star. If she stays, I fancy her chances here.

19:10 - Street Life @ 4/1
I have to say that this is the selection I am most confident in heading into Thursday. This seven-year-old gelding returns to Wolverhampton almost a week after his previous run here, and he boasts plenty of experience on this track, including two victories over the same 5f distance.
STREET LIFE finished fourth last time out in what was a Class 5. The field he is competing against this time around is much weaker, and so with the form that he is in, I believe he has an excellent chance of claiming another victory at this course.
His latest victory at Wolverhampton came last month, and this was followed by a second-place finish at Chelmsford. I am expecting a big run from him on Thursday as a result.
