Betfred Big Winner: F1 superfan backs up £50k win a year later
His family call him Phileas Fogg, after the fictional character who won a bet by going round the world in 80 days in the Jules Verne novel of 1872.
And no wonder, for Ken Taylor, a construction worker from Walsall, is planning more globe-trotting after another big win on the Irish Lotto at Betfred.
"My sister-in-law has started calling me Phileas and my wife thinks it's very funny," chuckled grandad Ken, 64.
His trips all over Europe and as far as Japan are due to his obsession with Formula One, regularly attending Grand Prix with a group of petrol-head pals.
Now he's busy sorting out a once-in-a-lifetime trip for next year's races in Mexico and the USA (Texas), with a few days in Cuba to coincide with his 65th birthday.
Two of his lucky numbers - 5 and 11 - represent his grandchildren's birthdays with the other three chosen at random - and that's won the Betfred customer £50k from just a £1 stake.
Using virtually the same numbers, he pocketed £50k from the same stake on the Irish Lotto in August last year.
Ken went on: "I believe life is for living and these two wins, plus a £13,000 windfall in between, allows me to continue following Formula One and plan for retirement.
"Next year's trip to America and Mexico will be the best ever. Also Lewis Hamilton, who I have always followed, will be in a Ferrari then so the Italian Grand Prix will be particularly interesting.
"My wife doesn't like cruises, but I would like to go somewhere decent with her in April when it's actually my 65th birthday. It is pretty amazing to win so much from just £1, but to do it again with virtually the same numbers on the same lottery takes some beating."
