Anytime Goalscorer Tips: Trossard to shoot successfully for the Gunners again

It has been a couple of weeks since I last provided some anytime goalscorer tips, so I think the last weekend before the October international break is as good a time as any to put together an accumulator.
My last attempt saw just two of my five scorers get on the scoresheet, so I am still chasing a clean sweep with one of these. I have gone for five players once again from a range of Premier League and EFL matches from Saturday's selection, which you will find below.
Anytime Goalscorer Tips - Saturday, October 5
- Leandro Trossard - Arsenal vs Southampton @ 5/4
- Bryan Mbeumo - Brentford vs Wolves @ 7/5
- Erling Haaland - Man City vs Fulham @ 4/9
- Josh Maja - West Brom vs Millwall @ 8/5
- Alfie May - Charlton vs Birmingham @ 13/10
Anytime Goalscorer acca pays at 45.64/1
Leandro Trossard - Arsenal vs Southampton @ 5/4
After getting sent off in Arsenal's hard-fought draw with title rivals Manchester City two weeks ago, Leandro Trossard returned in style against Leicester City as he contributed a goal, and set up Wilfred Ndidi for an injury-time own goal in a 4-2 victory.
The Belgian attacker provided another goal involvement in the week as he assisted Kai Havertz for the Gunners' opening goal in their 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. The former Brighton & Hove Albion man has been an excellent signing for Arsenal and I regard him as their best finisher with the quality of the goals he has scored for the club.
Trossard will be relishing the chance to face a winless Southampton side who have conceded 12 goals already this season in their opening six matches. He is likely to start and I think he will play a starring role for the third game in a row.
Bryan Mbeumo - Brentford vs Wolves @ 7/5
With five goals in his first six Premier League games this season, Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo is showing that the Bees are coping just fine without Ivan Toney. The Cameroon international has scored in the first minute in his last two appearances against Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
There is a chance this trend can continue against an out-of-form Wolverhampton Wanderers side who remain winless and cannot stop leaking goals. The Old Gold have conceded 16 this term and are extremely fragile at the back. Mbeumo will be rubbing his hands together to be facing them this weekend as he bids to score for the third successive game, and I think he can do just that.
He is Brentford's biggest danger man, and he has extra responsibilities now in the absence of strike partner Yoane Wissa due to injury. He has the speed and skill to torment Wolves' defenders and I will be surprised if he doesn't get on the scoresheet on Saturday.
Erling Haaland - Man City vs Fulham @ 4/9
Man City's goalscoring sensation Erling Haaland had his first blank of the season in the Premier League last week as they were held to a draw at Newcastle United. The Magpies ensured that he was doubled up at all times by the defenders and they successfully kept him quiet.
I'm not expecting Fulham to do the same this weekend, especially when Haaland is back on home soil at the Etihad Stadium this weekend. Six of his 10 goals in the top-flight have come when City are at home and he already boasts a hat-trick and a brace against Ipswich Town and Brentford respectively.
The Cottagers are going well at the moment as they sit sixth in the table, but this is unquestionably their toughest test to date. They are coming up against one of the best teams in the world and arguably the best striker in the world. I think Haaland will get back to scoring ways on Saturday.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Josh Maja - West Brom vs Millwall @ 8/5
West Bromwich Albion striker Josh Maja has been a frequent selection of mine this season because he cannot stop finding the back of the net. The former Sunderland man has seven goals in eight Championship appearances this campaign.
Three of them have come in his last four outings, but his streak came to an end against Middlesbrough in midweek. With Albion slipping to two consecutive defeats, Maja will want to help his team get back to winning ways when they return to The Hawthorns on Saturday against an inconsistent Millwall side.
The forward has surprisingly scored just one of his league goals at home this year, so he will be eager to make The Hawthorns a happy hunting ground for him, especially if he wishes to be in the Golden Boot conversation come May.
He leads the way at this moment in time, but he has a few rivals breathing down his neck, so I think we will see him get back on the scoresheet in this one.
Alfie May - Charlton vs Birmingham @ 13/10
After denying his teammate Willum Willumsson a beautiful goal in midweek and somehow failing to score on the goal line, Birmingham City's Alfie May more than made up for it with the winner against Huddersfield Town, the team he came close to joining in midweek.
The League 1 leaders head down south to London on Saturday to face Charlton Athletic, May's former employers. He has already returned to The Valley once this season as Blues beat the Addicks 1-0 in the Carabao Cup first round.
The forward was a second-half substitute in the game but he is likely to be handed a start this time around. How many times do we see the former player return and torment his old club? The figure is countless, so I am expecting May to break some Charlton hearts this weekend.
