Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain lock horns at the Emirates on Tuesday evening in one of the more glamorous Matchday Two Champions League clashes.

The Gunners picked up a point on the road against Atalanta, somewhat fortuitously, in their opener, while PSG were also a touch fortunate to edge out Girona thanks to a late winner in Paris.

This should be an open encounter in north London and we've put together an 8/1 Arsenal vs PSG bet builder as Spanish bosses Mikel Arteta and Luis Enrique go head-to-head.

Match Result - Draw

Games like this one serve as a positive for the new-look Champions League as it offers a heavyweight clash early in the competition and, unlike the old four-team group stage, there isn't the overwhelming probability that - regardless of the outcome - these giants will engineer their way to the top two spots anyway.

Now, it's a one-off game that presents a mere three points on offer before they go their separate ways.

The lack of jeopardy for the big clubs that is presented by the knowledge that 24 of the 32 competing teams at this stage will advance means we can't be sure yet how it will all pan out.

However, a defeat for Arsenal would leave them with one point from two games and with away trips to Inter and Sporting Lisbon, as well as Monaco at home, in three of the next four, potentially on a sticky wicket.

The Gunners are odds-on to win but that looks short for a team making only their second Champions League appearance in eight seasons.

PSG are old hands at this level and won't be coming to north London to make up the numbers.

Arsenal's defence almost cost them valuable Premier League points on Saturday, unusual as that has been of late, and PSG have enough in them to get a point.

Both teams to score

PSG have made the knockout stages of this competition every season since 2012/13, though their well-documented craving for overall success is yet to be achieved.

Both teams have scored in three of the four previous meetings between this pair, with three of those contests also ending level.

Arsenal haven't kept a clean sheet in three since the draw with Atalanta that saw David Raya saving a penalty, while PSG's only shutout in five was the Girona game.

Lucas Beraldo to be carded

Brazilian full-back Lucas Beraldo has started three of PSGs last four games due to a lengthy injury list, while he came off the bench for a late cameo in the Matchday One win over Girona.

He has been booked in two of his last four starts and, with Bukayo Saka likely to ask plenty of questions of him down Arsenal's right flank, he will have a tough night ahead in London.

He's been cautioned six times in 18 appearances so far for PSG and was in the notebook seven times in 24 appearances previous to that before departing Sao Paulo.
