Nap of the Day: They don’t come much better than Billy

For Sunday's Nap of the Day I'm journeying to the Curragh racecourse in County Kildare. One of my favourite jockeys, too - what could possibly go wrong?
Here goes then - fingers crossed for our selection in the Curragh 17:00, on Sunday September 29. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.
Nap of the Day - Sunday, September 29
- 17:00 Curragh - Procrastinate @ 2/1
17:00 Curragh - Procrastinate @ 2/1
There's a superb card at the Curragh on Sunday - as there often is of course over in Ireland. We've a couple of Group contests, the Irish Cesarewitch no less, and some fascinating supporting heats - one of which is the 17:00, a rated race for three-year-olds.
My selection hasn't been seen since March, when taking a maiden on this track at the trip (7f), on heavy ground. Today's jockey Billy Lee was on board, and the colt is trained by Paddy Twomey.
Procrastinate is by Group 1-winning sire Siyouni, out of a Shamardal mare. He's got a Listed entry for a one mile affair at Cork in a few days but one assumes if he's here, he won't be Mallow-bound. In any event, it's a promising sign in my book.
He's exceptionally unexposed having had just the one run, something that can't be said about his rivals. They are all thoroughly exposed, having been out on several occasions, and there hardly looks to be an absolute standout amongst them.
There's no challenger from the Aidan O'Brien stable, and none have any fancy entries. My admiration for the talent William James Lee possesses has been aired on many an occasion in these columns, and he's right up there among Europe's finest for me. Procrastinate certainly won't suffer for any lack of magic in the saddle.
The horse broke his maiden in some style, travelling strongly and putting the race to bed without fuss. Predicted cut in the ground once again is no bad thing, and he has what many of his rivals potentially lack - promise. The likelihood of a deal of improvement from that first run.
On what he achieved 195 days ago he's entitled to go close. With any benefit accrued from that outing, and the time subsequently afforded the colt to learn his craft, he's in pole position for me to take this.
