Paris Saint-Germain begin their Ligue 1 title defence against Le Havre on Friday night (19:45) and they will hope to make a big impression on their travels.

Luis Enrique's side won the Ligue 1 title by nine points last season ahead of Monaco, while Le Havre flirted with relegation, finishing 15th, just three points above the relegation play-off places.

Team News

Le Havre forward Andy Logbo will not feature as he continues to recover from an ACL injury that he picked up in November. New signing Yanis Zouaoui could start at left-back and he should be joined by Arouna Sangante, Gautier Lloris and Etienne Youte Kinkoue.

PSG coach Enrique will now plan for life without Kylian Mbappe after his move to Real Madrid in the summer and he is set to be without defender Lucas Beraldo after he suffered in a friendly against Sturm Graz earlier this month.

Presnel Kimpembe and Nordi Mukiele are also doubts due to fitness woes, but new signing Willian Pacho should come into the fold and make his competitive debut for the club.

Le Havre are considered 11/2 outsiders for Friday's encounter on home turf, while the draw is 100/30 and PSG are 2/5 to pick up all three points.

Over 2.5 goals is available at 8/13, while both teams to score is priced at 4/5 and PSG striker Goncalo Ramos is the favourite to score anytime at 6/5.

PSG to win and over 2.5 goals @ 21/20

It is difficult to know how effective PSG will be without Mbappe, but they should still have far too much quality for Le Havre.

Le Club Doyen just did enough to avoid relegation and Didier Digard's side should be up against it from the outset.

Le Havre managed to secure a 3-3 draw in the last meeting in Paris in April, but they have not won any of their previous seven games against PSG.

The visitors have a point to prove without Mbappe, so expect them to rack up the goals on the way to a routine win.

Former Benfica striker Ramos is the man tasked with replacing Mbappe and he should be finally able to step out of the shadows at PSG.

Ramos scored 11 goals last season in Ligue 1, which was a decent return considering he was second fiddle to Mbappe.

The 23-year-old will now lead the line for PSG and, even if he starts on the bench this week as he works on his fitness, he has the talent to make something happen as a substitute.
