Lucky 15 Tips: Form second, Duty First

Totally enthralling Saturday of tip-top action on July 13 - seem to think there's something quite significant happening on Sunday too, but it escapes me for the moment.

Newmarket stages the last day of the July meeting and it's there I'm headed once again for our Lucky 15 tips; and it's been very good to us this week with good winners on both previous days. Oisin Murphy has been ripping it up in some style, but who's got the magic touch on Saturday?

13:40 - Duty First @ 7/2

Here's daft for you - I'm tipping up an unraced two-year-old Showcasing filly. She's trained though by an absolute master with juveniles, Archie Watson, will be ridden by the brilliant James Doyle, and she's got a fancy entry in the Group 1 Moyglare in September, at the Curragh.

There's precious little to go on regarding any of the field, so I'm happy to tap in to what might just be a bit of value about Duty First, who's (hopefully) been showing plenty of promise at home.

14:12 - Miss Bodacious @ 4/1

I've tipped Miss Bodacious up in the companion ITV racing piece, and if you want to take a look, including some crackers at York and Ascot, you'll find it right HERE.

Karl Burke trains for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum, and after winning here last month she impressed many watchers. Up in class today, but I'm hoping she can take it in her stride.

No fancy entries just yet, but that could all soon change.

16:35 - Inisherin @ 5/2

Potential to go to the very top of the sprinting tree, and there are certainly vacancies up there. Race of the day for me - can't wait. Inisherin bids for a third successive Group success for Kevin Ryan and Tom Eaves, and this is another contest covered in slightly more detail in the ITV piece.

17:10 - Lord Of Love @ 9/2

The lucky last, and I've been very impressed with how the Gosden yard is powering along recently. Lord Of Love is already in good nick as the three-year-old son of the mighty Dubawi took a Salisbury maiden emphatically 17 days ago.

This doesn't look the strongest Class 3 handicap and with first-time cheekpieces working the oracle last time there could still be a little more to come from Lady Bamford's charge.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
