The 2024 Cheltenham Festival gets underway in just under a week and we here at Betfred Insights give you the lowdown on where you can watch the Races as the four-day festival of sport is set to take over the air-waves.

20 of the 28 races will be broadcast live on Free-to-Air television, with the final two on the card each day set for Racing TV, which is available via Sky and Virgin Media as well as other streaming platforms...

Back in 2016, it was announced that ITV would become the new home of Horse Racing on terrestrial TV following a short-lived spell on Channel 4. The action has been with the channel ever since and they will be heading into their eighth Cheltenham Festival this year.

The first five races on the card each day will be broadcast live on ITV. This means that the feature race each day, from the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, the Queen Mother Champions Chase on Wednesday, the Stayers’ Hurdle on Thursday and the all-important Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday, will all be available to viewers on the channel.

In addition, every morning throughout the festival, you’ll be able to catch up on all the latest news from the course as Oli Bell presents the Opening Show on ITV4 from 08:30 through 10:00.

For the final two races on the card each day, you’ll need to switch over to Racing TV. This channel is broadcast on Sky, Virgin Media, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and of course their website and app. From here you’ll be able to follow the final two races live. Race replays will be uploaded to YouTube.

Remember, you can check out all of our Cheltenham Tips from the team here at Betfred Insights.

We’ll be previewing every race, providing a Lucky 15 each day along with going through the card with our team of Alan Firkins, Owen McMahon and Matt Hulmes.

You can check out the full list of Race Times and What TV Channel they will be broadcast on below.
