Friday Lucky 15 Tips: Probert flying at a great price

A solid 7/2 winner to report from yesterday's Lucky 15, and an unfortunate, fast-finishing 11/4 second. Viewfromthestars is surely a winner-in-waiting, and yet again the mighty Rossa Ryan was in the mood, riding a double.
Our Lucky 15 tips for Friday, March 1st comes from Lingfield's Polytrack all-weather venue, with stacks of the season's flat racing titans in action, including Ryan, Oisin Murphy, Billy the Kid Loughnane, Hayley Turner et al.
Lucky 15 tips, Friday
13.30 Lingfield - Inspiritus @ 3/1
A Class 4 apprentice handicap, and a selection in Inspiritus who could launch Friday's Lucky 15 in the grand manner - fingers crossed.
The four-yr-old gelding is in rude order, trainer Roger Varian's charges are running very well, and the experienced Aidan Keeley is in the plate.
He's operating at a scorching 50% strike-rate over the last fortnight, and his partner recorded a career-best performance last time in a narrow defeat at the trip, and in this grade.
15.12 Lingfield - Batal Dubai @ 7/2
We've been here before - and gone very close. Today could be the day ..
Batal Dubai is a quality handicap sprinter for Harry Charlton, and gets Rossa Ryan up top once again as he did at Kempton 16 days ago when running on to be beaten less than a length.
His mark of 92 remains unchanged and from a nice draw in the three box can take this handsome £20k+ prize.
15.47 Lingfield - Red Flyer @ 8/1
David Probert rides this six-yr-old gelding for Kent trainer Karen Jewell.
He ties in closely with likely favourite Spartan Army courtesy of a course-and-distance contest early last month, and Red Flyer is now six pounds better off for a deficit on the day of just a neck.
'Flyer' is value I believe to turn the tables this afternoon and David has won on this admirably consistent campaigner before.
16.57 Lingfield - Kingdom Come @ 7/2
Rossa Ryan again, this time teaming up with the excellent Clive Cox.
Kingdom Come is a five-yr-old Kingman gelding who ran well in defeat at Wolves last time (7f) in the grade, and gets an extra furlong here. Stayed a mile perfectly well at Newbury on the grass last May and certainly ran last time as if it's now required.
Nice race this, one of many on a really attractive, well-endowed card. If you're playing, have fun, and good luck.
This is an example of how to put together a Lucky 15 - if you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £717 for your total £7.50 stake.
