Friday Lucky 15 Tips: Feel the need; the need for Speed

There's a brilliant card today at Ascot, so that's where I'm going for my inspiration. There's Uttoxeter, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Dundalk to consider, too.
This is an example of how to place a Lucky 15 - if you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
Prices can of course fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four were successful, would return around £199 for your total £7.50 stake.
Popular legend confirms that Fred, 'The Bonus King,' invented the 'Lucky' series of bets and their bonuses. Want the lowdown - all the ins and outs? My colleague Adam has set out all you need to know with this handy guide - take a look by clicking here.
Lucky 15 tips, Friday
13.55 Ascot - Authorised Speed @ 3/1
A quartet of promising novice chasers race over 2m 1f.
The selection reappears after running modestly at the National meeting in April at Liverpool. It's also a big day in that it's both his handicap and chasing debut - and to do that at a track of this magnitude is no easy task.
Showed excellent form as a young hurdler for Gary Moore, rated 133 and winning on three occasions. As a son of Derby winner Authorized he's bred to be able to motor just a bit, and could be an exciting addition to fencing ranks.
Moore has trained 7 winners in the last 14 days so stable form isn't too shabby right now either.
Lovely little race - should tell us plenty.
14.30 Ascot - Immortal @ 11/4
I've nominated this one in a cracking little contest as my Nap of the Day, in a separate piece - here's the rationale behind that decision.
15.05 Ascot - Djelo @ 11/8
A progressive young novice chaser, trained by the evergreen Venetia Williams.
A typically precocious French-bred who joined the Herefordshire handler just over a year ago, the 5-yr-old gelding stands two-from-two in handicap 'chases and looks an extremely promising type.
Aintree and Newbury were the venues, tip-top tracks, and he now has to do it right-handed here at Ascot. He's won at Exeter and run well at Sandown though in the past, so I hope it won't be an issue today.
Another small but select field, and as chasing has seen the selection hit greater heights than at any stage in his career there could, and should, be more to come.
15.40 Ascot - Captain Bellamy @ 3/1
A competitive-looking bumper to end the day's action at Ascot.
The selection is trained by the masterful Paul Nicholls, and the brilliant Harry Cobden is in the plate. Captain Bellamy won a Point in the spring and then secured a cosy win at Chepstow in this kind of contest in October.
This one races in the colours of one of Paul's major owners, Mrs Johnny de la Hey (Solo, Pic D'Orhy and many others). At just 4 years old he's a son of the Tattersalls Cup-winner Black Sam Bellamy, a fantastic sire in his lifetime of National Hunt horses, including that lovely old chaser The Giant Bolster.
Fingers crossed that we've another good one to enjoy - today will tell us plenty no doubt.
