Tuesday Lucky 15 Tips: If in doubt, pick Simon – simple!

Morning all. I make no apologies for returning to the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton for Tuesday's Lucky 15 suggestion. At this time of the year it strikes me as an eminently sensible route, and the racing is invariably highly enjoyable.
Lots of big names are present, including the evergreen Hayley Turner, who intriguingly has just the one booked ride.
Prices can of course fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four were successful, would return around £388 for your total £7.50 stake.
Popular legend confirms that Fred, 'The Bonus King,' invented the 'Lucky' series of bets and their bonuses. Want the lowdown - all the ins and outs? My colleague Adam has set out all you need to know with this handy guide - take a look by clicking here.
Lucky 15 tips, Tuesday
All Wolverhampton
17.00 - Queen Of Ipanema @ 9/4
One of the great rules of racing is 'back Willie and Patrick Mullins in bumpers.' Hardly original, but a plan that's been a fabulously successful one for many, many years. Well - not too far behind in racing's golden commandments is the 'support anything ridden by Simon Walker in amateur riders' events.'
He's won the Amateurs' Derby at Epsom on several occasions, and ridden hundreds of winners. He's top class, and is invariably much sought-after in this type of contest. That it's top trainer George Boughey doing the booking adds another level of confidence, frankly, and Queen Of Ipanema takes a little class drop too.
She's down a couple a pounds from her last spin over this course and gets an extra furlong to get competitive, as she looked a little one-paced at the shorter distance. She had a prolific spell over 12 months ago including wins at this track, and has plenty of ability. Great chance.
18.00 - My Boy Jack @ 5/1
Basement contest, and a 4-yr-old gelding in a bit of decent form. Two placed efforts here earlier this month, the last of which was under today's pilot Hector Crouch. Was tardily away last time and finished really well.
Drawn in the one stall he needs to hope the openings appear up the straight, but luck in running is invariably a factor especially in these sprint handicaps. Kevin Frost trains, over in Nottinghamshire.
18.30 - Higher Law @ 11/4
Kevin Frost again - so if our plans come to fruition that drive back to Notts will seem like a breeze! Division 2 of the 6f handicap, so he bids to snaffle both with this 3-yr-old Exceed And Excel gelding. Cheekpieces have brought about some recent improvement and has two close-up finishes to his name last month, including here.
It's a fiendishly competitive-looking affair but Higher Law has plenty going for him.
20.00 - Youm Jameel @ 7/2
Trevor Whelan rides this No Nay Never gelding for the Charltons and has had just two career starts to date. Nothing much to write home about so far but this is a high-quality, powerful yard and Youm Jameel was beaten only 5+l here over course-and-distance last time, just over a month ago.
Whelan was on board then too and can make that familiarity pay dividends on Tuesday night. Hayley has that solitary ride we mentioned earlier in this one, Katstar, who funnily enough finished three places behind our selection last time. I'll be having a little each-way saver on Ms Turner.
