Thursday Racing Tips: Forever William to continue his impressive form

Jump racing holds sway across the UK & Ireland on Thursday, with four meetings taking place across the afternoon. First off is Musselburgh, before they go at Lingfield, Thurles and Taunton.
Amongst our Thursday fancies is one for trainer Alan King who will be looking to capitalise on an impressive seasonal debut.
Thursday Racing Tips
12:35 Lingfield - Bolintlea @ 6/1
Bolintlea does not have the strongest looking form, often having to carry top weight resulting in her fading away in the closing stages of her races, but she looked very good on her reappearance this season at Worcester. She was no match for the eventual winner but kept herself in the race to secure an impressive second place which will stand her in good stead for today's race.
Her tendency to front run should suit her well here and she seems to act well on sharp left-handed tracks like the one at Lingfield. She does look up against it today as she is the only mare in the field, however, she is now getting back toward a similar mark to where she was when she won at Fakenham in January and if she can produce a similar effort to her last race, she should go well.
13:25 Taunton - Walkingthewoods @ 5/2
This race looks like a wide-open contest with some interesting runners such as Hardy Boy, who travelled strongly down in trip last time out and the unexposed Proper Twelve. However, the vote goes for the Evan Williams-trained six-year-old, Walkinthewoods.
He converted his consistent hurdling form over to his chasing career when narrowly beaten on his first start over fences. He was well backed and ran a good race but was denied in the closing stages by a rallying favourite.
He is stepping down in class today which should suit and if continuing his good form he could go one better today.
14:00 Taunton - Forever William @ 7/2
The consistent Forever William will look to double up on an impressive reappearance in the Somerset countryside.
This son of Sea The Moon got his season off to a fine start with a battling win at Plumpton just over three weeks ago.
He had a really good season last year which included a win over course and distance in January as well as an impressive showing at Cheltenham this time last year. He can look lazy at times with his jumping, but has shown he has a racer's mentality when holding off a sustained challenge last time out.
This is a tougher challenge today, but as a five-year-old he is improving and learning his craft and his win last time out will have done him a world of good going into this race. His consistent profile means he should go well here which will help in his bid to go onto some bigger races later on this season.
