There are five Premier League fixtures on Saturday and the late afternoon kick-off is between Brentford and Everton (17:30) at the Gtech Community Stadium. We’ve taken a look at this game and given you our best suggested selections.

Brentford vs Everton Betting Tips

  • Brentford to win to nil – 15/8
  • Yoane Wissa to score first goal – 4/1

Brentford’s (8/11) unbeaten streak came to an unlucky end on Saturday, as Newcastle beat them 1-0 due to a highly-debated penalty decision.

That result means that the Bees have only won one of their opening five games and sit in 11th in the Premier League table as a result.

Up next for Thomas Frank, is what on paper looks like a much more winnable game against a struggling Everton (7/2) side.

The Toffees have picked up just one point so far and Sean Dyche’s side look to already be embroiled in yet another relegation scrap.

Most worrying for Everton will be their inability to find the net, with just two goals scored from their five games to date.

Team news:

Frank had some terrible news this week, as Rico Henry was ruled out for the season with an ACL injury. He joins Josh Dasilva and Shandon Baptiste on the unavailable list.

For Everton, Dele Alli and Seamus Coleman are both still missing through injury but Dominic Calvert-Lewin should be fit again here and could be joined by Jack Harrison, who continues his recovery.

Brentford to win to nil – 15/8

I can’t see anything other than a Bees win here, they possess far more quality than this poor looking Everton outfit and I expect them to pick up their first home win.

As regards the scoreline, the Toffees look impotent in front of goal and I can’t see them breaching the Brentford defence.

Two goals from five games for Everton tells you everything you need to know.

Yoane Wissa to score first goal – 4/1

In the absence of Ivan Toney, it’s been left to the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa to pick up the slack and they’ve done just that.

Six goals between the pair have kept the Bees goals flowing and they should get plenty of chances here against a leaky Everton backline.

Sean Dyche’s side have already conceded nine goals in five games and I like the chances of the Congolese Wissa to open the scoring.

Betfred are running their famed Double Delight / Hat-Trick Heaven offer on this match, meaning that if Wissa scores first and then nets again, you will be paid at double the odds (8/1). If he grabs a hat-trick, you will be paid out at a HUGE 12/1!
