The 121st Queen's Club Championship takes place from June 17-23 and there is a star-studded line-up set to do battle for the spoils, headlined by reigning French Open champion Carlos Alcaraz.

The 21-year-old Spaniard landed his first Roland Garros title this month, taking his Grand Slam tally to three and leaving the Australian Open as the only trophy he needs to complete the set.

  • Grigor Dimitrov to win and each-way @ 10/1

World number two Alcaraz won the Queen's title last year before going on to triumph at Wimbledon and he is undoubtedly the player to beat.

Alcaraz opens up against Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo and it is no surprise to see the defending champion as a heavy 1/10 favourite to get the better of his 11/2 opponent.

There is plenty of British interest in the tournament, with Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans and Billy Harris all having qualified for the first round.

Five-time champion Andy Murray will also be competing in the first round in what is likely to be his final Queen’s appearance, as his retirement edges closer.

While Alcaraz will have plenty of backers, this will be his first outing since winning the French Open and he might take a little time to transition from clay to grass.

Therefore, it may be best looking elsewhere in the outright market and Holger Rune, who is on the other side of the draw to the defending champion, gets the nod.

Denmark's star is yet to hit his straps this season but moving onto this faster surface could bring about an improvement in his game and he impressed at Queen's last year when reaching the semi-finals.

The 21-year-old has shown a liking for grass and he took the confidence from that last-four run into the 2023 Wimbledon Championship, where he made it to the quarter-finals.

Boasting an array of shots that make him a big danger on this surface, Rune looks capable of enjoying another deep run in West Kensington.

Although he's now 33, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov remains a classy grass player and he could be a big threat after being housed in the same side of the draw as Alcaraz.

The Haskovo-born ace won Queen's in 2014, overcoming Feliciano Lopez in the final, before going on to reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon that year.

After a difficult few years, Dimitrov has rediscovered his form over the past couple of campaigns and he landed the Brisbane International in January, his first ATP title since 2017.

Now back on his favoured grass, Dimitrov will fancy his chances of claiming his second Queen's trophy and giving himself a boost going into the Grand Slam event at the All England Club next month.
