The Nottingham Open takes centre stage on Monday as the grass court season begins and there are a host of stars in women's draw that will be competing in the East Midlands.

Tunisian Ons Jabeur, beaten finalist at the All England Club in both of the last two years, headlines the women's tournament, but there is plenty of quality in behind with the likes of Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and defending champion Katie Boulter.

2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu is one of several British players taking part, with Heather Watson and Harriet Dart also in action, while France's Clara Burel and Poland's Magdalena Frech are the fourth and fifth seeds, respectively.

In the women's draw, top seed Jabeur will take some stopping given her impressive form on this surface, but a quarter-final exit at the 2024 French Open suggests she is not quite at the top of her game and is worth taking on here.

Marta Kostyuk is capable of enjoying a deep run in this tournament and she gets the nod, with the Ukrainian claiming the doubles titles at the 2023 Birmingham Classic, which is played on grass.

The 21-year-old second seed is a huge talent and she achieved her best result at Wimbledon last year, reaching the third round before bumping into American Madison Keys.

There is still plenty of development to come from Kostyuk and it would be no surprise to see her in the mix for glory.
