Aberdeen beat St Johnstone

We begin Saturday’s Scottish Premiership fourfold in the Granite City, where we’re backing Aberdeen to make home advantage count and continue their strong recent form.

The home team finished in the bottom six following a poor season but prepare for this game on the back of three wins and two draws in their last five. They are one of the division's form teams at the moment, and we’ve been backing them all the way. Let’s continue on Saturday at Pittodrie by adding a home win to our acca.

Opponents St Johnstone are dangerously close to the relegation zone after losing four of their last five and each of their previous two outings. They were beaten 3-1 by Hibs in Perth last weekend and are now one point and a place higher than Ross County and the danger zone. Back the Dons to pile on the pressure at fair odds.

Hibs beat Ross County

Remaining in the bottom six, we back Hibs to defeat Ross County and turn up the heat on the Staggies. Hibs are seventh in the table after winning two and drawing one of their last five. They take confidence from a two-game unbeaten record where they collected four of the six points available. They beat St Johnstone last weekend, and we fancy the Hibees to leave Dingwall with another three points.

Ross County is fighting for their survival and knows time is running out to secure their place in the top tier for next season. The Staggies famously beat Rangers last month but have lost three of their last four as nerves begin to play a part.

We’re happy to oppose a team in the relegation zone that is showing dreadful form. Add Hibs to your accumulator and hope the team from the capital does as expected.

Motherwell beat Livingston

Moving to Fir Park, we make Motherwell an obvious choice to beat bottom club Livingston. The Steelmen haven’t been anywhere near their best this season and struggled to score goals for much of the campaign. But they are improving in the later rounds and have lost only one of their last four.

The spare came against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, but we fancy them to bounce back and score a home win to delight their fans.

Livingston is rock bottom of the table, has been for most of the season, and will finish in 12th position. No matter how they perform on Saturday at Fir Park, the Lions have been dreadful and will drop into the Championship in plenty of time for next season. Despite scoring a surprise win last weekend, we’re opposing Livingston on the road.

St Mirren beat Dundee

St Mirren are off to Dens Park, where we expect them to beat an improving Dundee. The team from Paisley lost 2-1 at home to Rangers last weekend but put up a fight and were locked at 1-1 with Philippe Clement’s side for a large part of the contest.

The visitors always try to play attractive and attacking football, but they appear to have downed tools after securing a top-six finish. We need the Saints to be at their best, but we will give them another chance. If they are in the mood, St Mirren will take all three points.

Dundee enjoys the home advantage and also put up a fight against the Old Firm when losing 2-1 at Dens Park against Celtic on Sunday. They’ve won only one of their last five and are already safely tucked away in a top-six finish. Back St Mirren to score an away win.
