The fourth and final Euro 2024 tie of the weekend takes place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday night (20:00, ITV1) as the Netherlands take on Turkey in the quarter-finals.

After both countries were involved in three-goal contests in the last 16, hopes are high that there will be more goals between the two. Read below for my Netherlands vs Turkey bet builder tips, with shots featuring heavily in a five-legged 12/1 shot.

Cody Gakpo anytime scorer

The tournament's joint-top scorer so far on three goals, Cody Gakpo is making a name for himself again at an international tournament.

The Liverpool forward struck three times at the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar and has already matched that effort in Germany.

Up against a Turkey outfit that has conceded in all four games so far, shipping six goals in total, the 25-year-old will be confident of making himself the outright leader in the Golden Boot charts.

France are the only team that have been able to stop him so far, and while Turkey have shown great fight, they don't possess individual defenders like William Saliba and Jules Kounde.

Hakan Calhanoglu 2+ shots

Hakan Calhanoglu was suspended for Turkey's 2-1 victory over Austria in the last 16 but looks set to return to the starting XI on Saturday, and he will be looking to pick up where he left off before his ban.

The Crescent-Stars skipper scored a wonderful goal in his country's final group game against the Czech Republic, which they won 3-1, and he is averaging 2.7 shots per game in the competition having shot four times against Georgia, once against Portugal, and three times against the Czechs.

Calhanoglu also averaged 1.9 shots per game in Serie A for Inter Milan last season, and will surely be trying his luck from distance at every opportunity in Berlin.

Virgil van Dijk 1+ shots

Virgil van Dijk has been in the thick of the action for the Netherlands, putting himself about at both ends. The Oranje captain has taken a shot in each of his country's four games in Germany, all from corners swung into the box.

The Netherlands won six corners against Poland, three against France, five against Austria and 13 against Romania, so Ronald Koeman's side are giving the Liverpool defender plenty of opportunities to get on the end of things.

Turkey conceded 10 corners to Austria on Tuesday, and similar numbers would surely result in Van Dijk registering at least one shot.

Virgil van Dijk 1+ fouls

Van Dijk has been extremely physical at Euro 2024, making 2.5 fouls per game on average.

He made two v Poland, one v France, three v Austria, and four v Romania, with a few physical strikers posing him problems along the way.

Turkey have been fouled an average of 10.8 times per game at Euro 2024, and Arda Guler and co could cause issues for Van Dijk on Saturday.

Ferdi Kadioglu 3+ tackles

Ferdi Kadioglu has been my left back of the tournament so far, and he saved his best display for Tuesday's last 16 tie with Austria.

The Fenerbahce full-back was a constant menace to the Austrian players, highlighted by a game-high six tackles.

That helped to raise the 24-year-old's tackles per game average to 3.4 at Euro 2024 after he made two, four and two against Georgia, Portugal and the Czech Republic respectively.

He will need to be at his best again on Saturday, particularly if speed merchant Donyell Malen - who scored twice off the bench for the Oranje against Romania - is given the nod at right wing.
