It's almost time for the Betfred World Matchplay in Blackpool and after the draw today, we caught up with defending champion Nathan 'The Asp' Aspinall. He gave us his thoughts on the prestigious tournament, his chances of defending his title, as well as his views on England and Manchester United.

The 32-year-old from Stockport had by far the biggest win of his career last July, when picking up the Phil Taylor Trophy at the iconic Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Since then though, he has had shoulder issues and struggled to recover that kind of form that shot him to the title.
He did however finish in the semi-finals of the Masters and had a couple of nightly wins at the Premier League, hinting to a possible return to form. The Asp won't have it all his own way in thr first round though, taking on Englishman Luke Woodhouse who is in excellent form himself.
Here he spoke to us about his chances and what last year meant to him, as well as letting us know his views on Gareth Southgate and Erik Ten Hag.
