The Premier League roadshow is back in the UK at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Thursday night (19:00). Nathan Aspinall picked up his second nightly win in Rotterdam to rise to third in the table but can he consolidate that spot?

Our Darts expert Sean Rafferty previews this one and gives us his Premier league Darts Liverpool predictions, including a treble that's been boosted from 7/2 to 9/2!

Gerwyn Price +2.5  Handicap @ 4/9

Gezzy continues to play at a decent level without winning silverware and I’m still convinced that has to change some time soon, if he keeps up at his current level of play. He needs a nightly win to realistically get back in with a chance of clinching a spot in the top four of the league table.

That doesn’t become any easier a task this week, as he faces the talented Luke Littler first up. 'The Nuke' sits comfortably joint top of the table alongside Luke Humphries on 26 points, so can perhaps afford to relax a bit more. Littler did beat Price 6-3 in the final of Night 10, but Price won their previous encounter in the PL 6-5.

Littler has lost four or more legs in his last four PL matches and I think Price can take 4+ legs off him here if he can average a ton or above. This should be achievable, as he’s managed it in 16 of his last 26 matches.

If he can keep up his scoring and punish any Littler missed doubles then 4+ legs is realistic for The Iceman at 4/9.

Peter Wright over 1.5 180s @ 8/13

Most darts fans and punters would probably be surprised to hear that Wright has actually won his last two meetings against Van Gerwen, with victories coming on both the Pro Tour and European Tour. However, Snakebite’s form is very underwhelming again recently, to put it politely.

He’s lost his last eight matches in all competitions and he seems to have a habit of missing doubles at crucial times in recent months, which will be down to a lack of confidence.

In amongst these dismal performances though he’s still managed to chip in with some 180s. I was interested to see over 1.5 180s from Wright priced up at a back-able 8/13 - Snakebite has still managed to hit over 1.5 180s in eight of his last 11 matches, despite averaging below 94 in nine of these.

It shows he can still find them when he’s not on form which takes much of the risk away from this selection, MVG should win comfortably if form stays as it is from both but the value is in Wright maximums for me.

Rob Cross to win @ 21/20

Big match this one - Michael Smith desperately needs the wins to keep chipping away, as he sits just one point off the top four currently. However, I’m siding with Cross who sits away down in seventh on 11 points, which perhaps takes the pressure off him a bit as he has nothing to lose now.

'Voltage' generally has a very good record against Smith - winning 10 of their last 13 matches over the course of the last five years. They’ve only met once previously in the PL this year, with Cross winning that one 6-4.

After a very strong six months or so for Rob, he had a slight dip in form recently which sees him near the bottom of the league table but he seems to be finding something again, which saw him reach the semis of the European Darts Grand Prix last weekend, including thumping wins over Humphries and Noppert along the way.

Smith has gradually improved this year but is still searching for his top gear. 21/20 is a good price for Cross given he clearly likes playing against Bully Boy and has enjoyed plenty success against him.

The treble has been generously boosted from 7/2 all the way out to 9/2 which you can back by clicking the banner below.
