Super Bowl 2025 Odds: Chiefs slight favs to win historic 3-peat

Super Bowl Sunday is just around the corner and we have a second showdown taking place in New Orleans between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs in the space of just three years. KC won that one and are seeking an unprecedented 3-peat of Lombardi Trophy wins. 

We've taken a look at all the latest Super Bowl 2025 odds from the most popular markets ahead of this massive contest...

Money Line

So after 18 weeks of regular season action and the madness of the playoffs, we come down to two teams from the original 32. Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Eagles @ Evens

Philly started the season poorly, losing two of their opening four games and it didn't look at that point that they would be heading back to the Super Bowl for their second final in three years. However, Saquon Barkley had a career year and alongside a terrific all round squad, they recorded victories in 12 of their next 13 contests to finish the #2 seed in the NFC behind the Detroit Lions.

They then started to look like a genuine powerhouse in the playoffs, dispatching of the Packers and Rams with ease, before absolutely demolishing the Washington in the NFC Championship game 55-23. Barkley and QB Jalen Hurts scored three touchdowns each in that stellar performance to sound out a warning to whoever would be facing up against them in New Orleans.

Chiefs @ 5/6

Sadly for the Eagles, that team happened to be the dynastic franchise of the Kansas City Chiefs, who seem to treat a trip to the Super Bowl as a yearly family vacation.

The Chiefs are the slight favourites here but have had a very peculiar season indeed. Gone are the flashy, ultra-entertaining sides of the past, replaced instead by an uber-efficient winning machine. Kansas City have consistently been told this year that the refs are with them and that they are the worst (9-0, 12-1, 15-2) franchise in NFL history but they continue to quietly get the job done.

Of their 15 victories, ten were by a single score and they frequently came from behind in the fourth quarter, when it really mattered, to win. Two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes may have had the worst statistical season of his career but he only cares about one thing. Rings.

KC are 5/6 to pick up the Lombardi Trophy and recent history suggests they are a good bet to do so.

Handicap

Often referred to in the US as the spread, this handicap bet is a good way of betting on a game when there is a clear favourite. Thats not the case here, as the two teams are so evenly matched, with the Eagles a +1.5 underdog at 5/6 and the Chiefs EVS at -1.5. Essentially KC are giving Philly a 1.5 point start here meaning if the Chiefs win 23-20, your spread bet on the Eagles would win.

Total Points

This line essentially allows you to predict whether the game will be a high scoring one or not. The line is set at over/under 48.5 with both options at 10/11.

The last time these two faced off was in November 2023, when the Chiefs won 21-17 at Arrowhead Stadium and in Super Bowl LVII the two teams played out an amazing 38-35 thriller, again with the spoils going to Kansas.

This game looks like it should be fairly high scoring with all the attacking talent such as Barkley, Hurst, Mahomes, Kelce and others on show, so the overs could be a good option here.

Touchdown Scorers

You can bet on the first touchdown scorer, multi touchdown scorers and to score a touchdown anytime in the game. Of course the favourite in this market is the Eagles running back Saquon, who is as short as 4/9 to get into the end zone for the 19th time this season. He is also 4/1 to score the first TD, which is a great option when combined with our Double-Delight offer. If he scores first and then scores again you will be paid at double the odds (8/1).

For the Chiefs, Mr Swift himself is the shortest price, with Travis Kelce 11/10 to score anytime.

MVP

One of the most popular markets on the Super Bowl betting is the Most Valuable Player or MVP. It's essentially the same as man of the match and is awarded at the end of the game.

This award usually goes to a quarterback and Patrick Mahomes is of course the betting favourite at EVS. Jalen Hurts is third favourite at 7/2, while that man Barkley is second in the betting at 11/4.
