Team News

Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is the Kansas City Chiefs’ only major injury issue for this game, and has been ruled out for the opener.

Adisa Isaac is questionable with a hamstring injury for the Ravens, while Rasheen Ali has been struggling with a neck injury and looks set to miss out.

Ravens vs Chiefs Odds

The Kansas City Chiefs are 4/6 on the moneyline, while the Baltimore Ravens are 5/4 outsiders.

The Chiefs are 5/6 to overcome a 2.5 point deficit on the spread, while the Ravens are Evs with the same point head start.

Under 46.5 points is priced up at 20/21, while the over is 20/23.

Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 @ 5/6

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in January, recording a 17-10 win in wintry conditions.

They should be able to repeat the trick in much warmer weather to open the new campaign.

Baltimore are not to be underestimated, though. In Lamar Jackson they have last year’s MVP, and they have a strong record on the road.

However, they have undergone considerable changes in the offseason, losing John Simpson, Kevin Zeitler and Morgan Moses, three key members of their offensive line.

To add to that, defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald has departed for the head coaching role at the Seattle Seahawks.

By contrast, it has been more of the same for Kansas City, who have retained their big stars and added a few exciting new options.

In Patrick Mahomes they have the best quarterback of the modern era and he sports a 4-1 record against the Ravens.

Given the changes for Baltimore, coupled with Kansas City’s winning machine, take the home team to overcome a 2.5 point deficit on the spread.

Xavier Worthy anytime touchdown scorer @ 11/5

One of the new weapons for Mahomes is their first round draft pick, wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

The rookie broke the 40-yard dash record in the NFL combine and has the raw speed that the Chiefs have lacked at times.

Against a brand new defensive coordinator for the Ravens, Worthy could spring a surprise or two.
